OCCT crashes on new build

I'm running a 9950x3D in an X870 ROG Strix ITX mobo with a 5080 and 32gb of T-create 6000mhz CL30 RAM in the Formd T1. OCCT doesn't run properly no matter what slot I put the RAM in and the whole system locks up except for the mouse which still works during OCCT usually I have to hard restart by holding the power button to then be able to use the system normally again. The system works in normal usage though. It's only OCCT that fails. The Windows install is an old install from a previous build I have yet to put a fresh install on a new drive to swap to.

With one of the sticks in A2 the test crashed instead of the whole system locking up but when I put that same stick in A1 it instead just locked the whole system up

Also once OCCT starts the timer duration starts lagging

so it isn't accurately showing the time increasing

I'm planning on putting a fresh windows install on my secondary drive and testing again
