CPU: AMD 8700G
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-P1 + NF-A14x25 G2
RAM: 2x32GB DDR5 Kingston 5600 @ 7600 MT/s
Mobo: ASRock X600 DeskMini
GPU: AMD 780M (integrated graphics)
SSD: Samsung 990 Pro 4TB
PSU: DeskMini's 120W 19V DC power brick
Case: None. Although I'm using the original deskmini motherboard tray.

CPU is limited to 65W including all boosting limits.
The single Noctua fan cools all heat-generating components: CPU, RAM, SSD and VRMs. Max speed is 600 RPM and no component goes above 50°C while being completely silent.

Memory was fitted with 25x25x18.5mm aluminium heatsinks in one side and 2mm copper heatsinks in the other side using R clips and thermal paste.

CPU was delidded to replace the stock thermal paste between the die and the IHS with MX-6.

I cant tell if this counts anymore cause its just a test bench basically lmfao

#

technically its ♾️L cause it doesnt have an attempt at a case

enclosing the pc in any type of case makes temps and noise so much worse, this is what I ended up when trying to maximise silence while keeping everything cool and I wanted to share my experience

#

everything in this was carefully planned. I went over different coolers, fans and configurations trying to achieve the lowest noise possible while keeping all components properly cooled

We joke that any open air "case"

#

Technically isnt closed so has infinite volume lol

#

The xprotos were the usual suspect

#

"Look at my xproto!"
"Oh dude that aint in a case, so technically the case is your room and that ain't sff at all"
