Shiny Snake L400 - The jankiest build known to man

Oh if anybody in the future stumbles across this looking for info, here are some general thoughts
L400
- Does ATX. Uh, don't be stupid like me and use 160mm though because while it technically fits it is a nightmare that I wasn't even gonna deal with. Just use SFX or 140mm.
- Build quality is okay. Metal is decent, plastic at the bottom does feel fairly cheap.
- Instructions are bad but you usually can figure things out based on intuition. Most confusing part was where to screw the riser in. There's two screw holes on the other side that are easy to glance over. Another confusing part was how to screw the GPU in. You screw it in from below not above.
- Not a fan of how the front and top panels are one piece and can't be removed (At least not readily)
MaxSun B650 ITX
- BIOS is better than anticipated. Or at least, it's good enough for casual use. Will be testing out RAM OC later on.
- Beats Jginyue at least. Which is an extremely low bar but it's a similar price.
- PCIe 5 x16 slot at this price is nice but not a primary draw imo.
Nice, mine is coming monday. Did you install a front top fan? Im concerned about the gpu cables hitting the fan
I did not, but uh as you can tell I may have taken some liberties with the build. Anyways, my educated guess is that most cables are long enough to just go under the front top fan. The front bottom fan doesn't actually seem very useful. The PSU, CPU cooler, and GPU all intake their own air already and it being an exhaust doesn't really seem necessary
im planning on using a top and top-front fan and leave the bottom bracket for my 2 ssds. You are right that bottom fan looks like a waste to me since most of the heat is produced at the top of the case
