#New ASRock B650I Only Boots Up With One Ram Stick Installed

Figured I would take this out of the build channel.

I was finally able to boot and install windows in my new A4H2O but it seems to only work if I have a stick of RAM in only the B slot.

At first when I was diagnosing issues with this build my monitor would report ‘no signal’ and go into sleep mode. When both sticks are installed the monitor does the same.

Not sure what to do other than exchange the motherboard.

Ideas and help are both very much appreciated.

Ha. To add on to the pile of shit with this build: WAN is enabled in the bios but windows refuses to recognize its existence. Bluetooth and LAN work though. lol

most likely motherboard exchange is the way to go, i think the first issue could also be caused by faulty ram sticks but if other issues have reared their heads, you know what to do

That's unfortunate but now you're able to be certain about the cause
