well I have the same issue but the opposite, my monitor when plugged in initially uses my cpu so I need to go into Device Manager and disable the intel graphics from there for it to switch to using the gpu instead. It is really annoying and I wonder if anyone here knows of an official fix that will make the razerblade know when to switch from cpu to gpu

@shrewd timber but I think to fix it for your situation you have to disable the gpu instead of the cpu in the device manager then both will use your cpu graphics

I didn't have swelling but I did have the nvidia GPU completely die 3 days after receiving it (wasted by update installs nontheless). I'm now waiting on Razer to get back to me with my RMA label but I don't know how long that will take.

If you're not really using it for streaming anything it wouldn't be of use to you since you just record it and its not live. If you think you will get into streaming its pretty simple, as all the capture cards are, cool thing is the 4K pass through. It doesnt capture 4k, but lets your monitor or TV keep its qualtiy so you dont have to lower your settings!

open it up and foam the case with neoprene/sorbothane/shelf liner/basically anything, even an old shirt if you wanted to. dont recommend dry lubing anything but iirc you can take out the stabilizers and lube them similar to plate mounted stabilizers

I’ve got a Huntsman Elite and love the key caps. They are smooth and thick, I’m guessing PBT. I also have the Huntsman 60% and don’t like the key caps nearly as much. Well yes the over clocking laptops top cpu is in lots of stuff but yes almost need two video cards its so fast. You can do 4k no problem at 100 fps but really that's a big screen that it supports.

Look at steam portable unit only has enough power to drive screen on handheld it seems but great price to game with.

also, razer should at least let you select the kind of switches you want for the quartz variations not just forcing you to have green clicky ones. on the other colors you can choose between yellow and green but the quartz you have to have green

#

im unsure if its a dock issue. when i have the mouse docked, it shows that its charging although synapse shows it as 0
when i connect it wired though, battery shows 100

Well still waiting to see if we can find laptops. I see stuff Microsoft store is sell in stock in a few stores but that's all so far. It's like all companies went bankrupt. The Ortana V2 has the Hybrid Mecha-Membrane Switch so it's almost unlikely that you can change the keycap unless you find a cap that fits that. The only problem with alot of Razer KB's is the type of switches they all use aren't very common

Depends on what you're looking for exactly. I have the Huntsman Elite with the Linear(Red) switches because it's quieter switches while I stream and super fast response due to the light/laser in the switches for gaming. Plus it came with the wrist rest that helps me out alot when I'm typing or editing for longer periods. Of course it has all the RGB you could ask for too

My roommate has the Blackwidow V3 with the yellow switches and he loves it. It's pretty decent for a cheaper Razer kb. Honestly, if you're unsure about the looks, feel, and everything then try going to Best Buy or some store that has display models and just get your hands on them. That will save you alot of time and energy of trying to guess which one works best from the descriptions the website has

If you want to get a try for something under $100 I’d consider the gk61. Or a budget mechanical keyboard to start with just to get the feel of one.

Membrane/rubber dome keyboards won’t allow you to change keycaps. Versus something mechanical or opto mechanical where for the most part they use cherry stems. So you could switch the key caps. How ever the problem with keycaps on some of the razer keyboards are the non standard bottom row. Basically the spacing between the keys is diffrent. So you may have to buy specialty sets that include a razer bottom row. How ever some razer boards such as the huntsman mini comes with a standard bottom row

I would like to know how much it could drag click WITH electric tape or grip tape. secondly, i would like to know if it can butterfly click at least 12-13 cps. I already know it is very good for jitter clicking though. so those other 2 are what i would want to know.

@alpine carbon found a website prints brand names on cups and bags they have lots of razer symbols you can get printed on stuff. I got bag and cup. Cups is great so far. Bag well it looks like a great cover for 15 inch laptop or your vr gear I think vr headset fits easy
