I do think the advance is worth it tho since it's the ideal laptop for people who do stuff like video editing or 3d rendering on the go. If the blade advance is in your budget, then you're probably the type of person who is looking for an ultra premium build

That's why I got an rtx 2060 laptop on a big sale at the start of covid, it was the best bang for my buck and it will last me till gpus become a thing again (at the time I didn't have the room for a PC and wanted to wait for the 30 series cards but that didn't end well)

Well razer doesn’t make the optical switches them selfs. Its made my bloody and rebranded. My guess is they only got the approval to use those two switches. And I’m not sure if with opto switches if you can truly achieve a silent linear. Maybe my boy @glossy parrot @alpine carbon can shed some light on this keyboard knowledge
