So in a normal gaming laptop / vs non gaming laptop. One you pay more for the name vs the actual parts. Second some of the NON gaming laptops come with better drives web cam speakers cpu and so forth, so long as you stay away from ultra slim... Overall I mean gaming laptops typically skim on the other aspects do to the fact that they are giving you a higher refresh screen and a good gpu...

99 percent of the gamer gaming on laptops don't game while on battery at all . So in reality instead of trapping all that extra damn heat into the system may as well offload it to an egpu and get a nice 320hz screen vs whatever is on the laptop .. So TB3 dock egpu and triple screen setup on an i7 laptop or i9 = nice . Less heat as well

Been looking at the book 13, mainly as a new laptop for school. Note I have a dedicated gaming rig so I don't care about raw power and intel Seems a bit better since I plan to use it mainly for 3D and Adobe shit. But the price is a little terrifying for the specs and I hear it crashes constantly. I need something reliable and small so idk what to do in this situation

The stealth 13 is fine too but I really don't want a gaming laptop, the reason I like the book is the smaller size and ports

The ports are why I'm avoiding the xps and such

Rn I use a shitty 2014 blade and it's last legs about to die, keyboard and trackpad is just non functional now, can't survive an hour out of a charger, and i think served its purpose as a travel computer for a solid year or so

The Blacksharks are recommended over the Kraken if you want Razer cans. Apparently much better audio quality for a similar price.
