Anyone else got a Huntsman V2 Analog? I'm having this issue where some games have an xbox controller come up as the default input not a mouse+keyboard, and in some cases i cant even use the keyboard because it thinks it's a controller

Looking it up apparently the keyboard comes up as both a keyboard and a controller in Windows and that causes problems

Always had it, it's just a problem with the keyboard in general, it's just most games are fine with it and as soon as you press a key on the keyboard or a mouse button it switches to PC input

I can't believe this flew under the radar, it's a pretty major problem, some games literally don't work with this keyboard because they take no input from it or in Fallout 76's case, it wants me to using the Xbox A, B, X and Y buttons which you can't emulate on this keyboard

well i agree with you but i shocked you even found one for sale and you can adjust or get it working. the fact it works and send inputs to computer means the hardware team or me should be done, driver an other team and software an other team. i guess your best option would be reporting what you find to be a problem and hopefully one day them software or hardware will get stuff upgraded. i hear just to get all keyboards firmware updated will take a major updated to interent.

yes i have that problem they want to know who sold it and want to see prictures of them item so they know its real. one team might be trying to delay the projects release. maybe apple wants it to only work on there stuff how good does it really work. can the features be used in controllers

just keep contacting support tell them its for sale and your wonder in all keyboards do this. how long before you can return it. i never return razer stuff myself hardware seem to work when updated for myself.

The keyboard usually comes up as a keyboard, like COD, BF, Rage 2, Doom Eternal, and plenty more, but some games show xbox inputs until I press something, like MK11, RDR2, GTA 5, then Fallout 76 for one just shows xbox inputs and input from the keyboard doesn't work at all, so I have to use a controller or use my old Razer Huntsman V1. It doesn't effect every game, but it shows it wasn't tested, if WASD joystick is turned off the controller side should be OFF everywhere. This is a pretty major issue in my eyes.

I'll contact them and see what they say, just harass them until they give me an answer, lol

I get ya, I do feel like the opto-mechanical keys are much snappier, 0.2ms vs 30ms i believe on regular mechanical

it's glorious, the optical keys are why i got the Huntsman and I said i'd only swap it if they made a v2 and the v2 Analog so far is much nicer, but those bugs are gross

yes but razer used lg projector with new design so you can project video on to move screen outdoors. stuff we sell now and good thunderbolt hub, 3 companys make different version. razer microsoft and cosair.

the intel nuc vr not bad computer but im not sure it fully supports usb. why the newest version comes with only one usb controller not a usb controller for every output like it should have. but im not sure what is causing problems yet. i know send stuff out with out updating firmware was a problem. a very big problem also not getting paid for hardware and sending collection crews out are biggest problem. if you have not paid for item do not break them.

I have a razer kraken tournament edition headset and the mic is pretty quiet i have my output set to razer audio controller game and input set to razer audio controller chat. Also if i select the synapse option for output then i cant hear anything through my headset i use synapse 3

@reef girder l CB radio or cell phone towers really make wireless impossible for some people. Razer is a comunnicaton partners helping with hardware design and setup of a few small not so well know company started in Canada.

They sell lots see Microsoft mouse I really like it for fps gaming. Great speed and accuracy but you can add features sell for more razer chroma. :)

Im trying to find a good gaming laptop that has long lasting battery life for university.

@alpine carbon i have personal experince using a gaming laptop for university. Unfortunately the average gaming laptop only gets about 2.5 hours of battery life. And yes newer ones have gotten less chonky. But I’d honestly recommend something like an hp spectre x360 or something light weight /ultra portable if you plan to take it to class. Even considering an ipad for note taking and class work. Then leaving the gaming laptop in your dorm or home

Avoid getting a laptop with over a 15.6 inch screen. A majority of backpacks have a hard time fitting most 17 inch laptops into them. And if you plan on walking from dorm to class. Spend money on a nice water resistant laptop bag or backpack

@rich plaza I have seen power problems cause that. You connect to USB 2.0 or 3.0. Should work. Lots of the wireless adapter needs updates to work on USB with power available. Also seen ones that worked on power stop working because firmware was set to low for USB. They set it upto .☆☆ NOT TO THE INDUSTRY STANARDS OF .☆☆☆ that is needed for accuracy

USB is my job you skipped the line waiting for info. The only person I meet who knows more are people trying to sell the stuff because it works great for there products. Like cell phone company's that was fun.

All razer mice should work in thunderbolt ports some need a hardware and software updated. The keyboard we sell in Microsoft store were order to be updated on the released dates for new USB standard with power and data.
