I am using my Razer Nari Ultimate on my laptop, every time I disconnect the dongle from USB (basically every time I need to change locations), when I plug everything back in, it registers the Nari as a new device, I have to set my volumes as well as the path for the various programs that use the channels. Also, ever since the first time, I cannot use the THX Spacial Sound as my default sound because it doesn't recognize the new copies and is looking for the originals. Any suggestions?

I'm using the elite strap. They're a bit uncomfortable on the elite strap because of the plastic part that goes to the back interfering with the fit and kinda lifting it off your ears. Can't really say for the basic strap

I 10/10 recommend getting the elite strap though, way better over the standard strap imo

Well I'd assume if it can fit elite then it can fit normal strap. The normal straps issue is that its straps on the side if your head sit on your ears or over your ears and that makes your head wider. That's how my old headset broke. The plastic bit on them are folding and they're slowly breaking to it like if you folded plastic over and over again.

just have to stop the outsides of the switch hitter (which are raised for some reason???) from hitting the plastic. file it down just a tiiiiiiny bit, so the center of the switch hitter is the same level as the outsides. really poor design. feel like it's intentional almost.

and by the way, no need to unscrew anything. all 3 of the razer mice I have can have the left click button lifted up enough to gain access to the piece you need to file down. but be gentle, the plastic is pretty thin. Don't bend it up too far, or it'll probably snap.

Yes and no. Optical switches last longer but the mechanical switches tend to be quieter to stabilizer design. In terms of rgb huntsman elite beats the blackwidow elite

As far as razer as a whole, razers quality used to be quite poor so they got a rep for that. How ever in the last few years razers rebranded them selves into a great peripheral company

So on the newer blackwidow switches they have added walls you could say to reduce wobble. So it’s a cherry stem with a box basically.

Oh, I know what you meant, I’m just saying the naga pro might be a better option, the keypad on the 12 button layout is easier to identify by touch than the epic since each button and row have different sizes/angles and the two buttons by the scroll wheel are no longer bumps that can be accidentally pressed

Hmm.. that texture is still nice. The lines would feel retarded though on the Trinity.
It also looks like the ring finger rest is slightly raised on the pro compared to the epic. Still.. it'll be so nice not to have to clean my switches anymore.. given they're optic lasers now.

Well, form factor feels better than the G600, i like how it sits in my hand. Buttons are great and clicky. No cable but the charging cable feels like you are wireless, so far a great experience

It'd have its factory firmware already on it I'd assume. Whether you want to update / install synapse is up to you.

Preeeeetty sure Synapse would do it automatically for you anyway.

Its the option in Synapse to have an alternative action to any key in your razer peripherals. So for example on the keypad of the naga I have button 1 as F1 and hypershift it to ctrl+F1 that is where I have my heal and the alternative is the spell to heal my blocker 🙂

Not without tearing it down, at least does not seem like it. It also has the magnetic charging spots in the bottom so i guess it makes it a bit more difficult if that is connected to the battery

Try contacting razer support, they may be able to repair/fix it for you. If you were to replace the switch you would have to desolder the broken one and solder in a new one.
