Question that confuses me...

Razer has all these different formats and features for keyboards, so you can choose the one that fits your needs best

Razer also has flavors of switches, so you can choose the feel you like

But, you can't chose the format and switch combination you like. This seems incongruous

For example, I can't seem to get a Blackwidow X Chroma TE with yellow switches. Or I can't get a Huntsman TE with "clicky" switches

Its all about cost. Imagine how much more Razer products would be if it was all customisable. Would be cool but not practical. Remember most peripherals are mass produced on a production line my machines. Lets look at apple for example, and their iphones. Imagine them being fully customisable. Yeah I want an old iphone 7, but I want more ram, a bigger screen and that screen needs to have a yellow tint and I want the back a bold orange tint.

I'm not asking about anything they don't already have there. It's not like I asked why there wasn't transparent or glow in the dark plastic keyboards, or why they don't make physically larger ones for giants

I understand it's different SKUs, or that it might be more expensive. But, it's not like it's physically impossible to use a different switch along the same line

Also, other keyboard manufacturers seem to be able to do that just fine, Razer being the exception

if i am not mistaken the ultimate doesn't take advantage of synapse. if it does try installing synapse 3 see if it works that way. in addition the ultimate is only green lightning and I think everything is controled with keyboard binds

Hey guys...

So i used an 104 key Keyboard with Outemu Blue switches for 2 years, and my eye felt immediately on the Blackwidow Elite (not the huntsman elite... like you pay 200€ for rgb wristrest and you dont even get an usb 2.0 passthrough... FAIL) and the Blackwidow has everything for me:

Media controls, Brown Switches (dont care if the razer switches are made by Kailh, 104 key size (have a large table so space isnt a problem for me), USB and 3,5mm Passthrough, great lubed stabilizers, and im gonna replace the keycaps with PBT Pudding Caps set....

So tell me if its a good deal for me

Razer pbts vs taihao americ caps. I'd go with Tai hao keycaps if I were you. They sell blank caps as well. Just message them on Instagram they are super responsive and can steer you in the right direction

Well the viper is ambidextrous so some people don't like the feel of it. I have the original basilisk and is still my favorite mouse. If you've tried the g502 and liked it you'll like the basilisk.

They're both great mice it's more so the comfort feel

Honestly I have no idea but I couldn't click in anything on the desktop kinda like the left click wouldn't work yet in games it was fine. The only way to fix it was clicking the dpi clutch about 10 times or replugging it

@honest heart I think my kishi is broken. The website says you can play and charge at the same time. But when I plug in through the passthrough port nothing happens. I can manually switch "USB controlled by" in "USB Preferences" settings from "Connected device" to "This device" and it starts charging but the gamepad stops working all together.

I was planning on getting the Huntsman Elite used on a website (still looking). My budget is $150AUD. However, I just found a standard Huntsman for $60AUD which is a great price for a Huntsman ngl. I know that it's been said alot, but I I feel like I need to make another post about it just so razer representatives realize how much we really want this mouse. Like many others, when the RVM was released I wanted a wireless version. It could be the same price and with the same internals as the RVU but the RVM shape, scroll wheel and coating. Personally I would sacrifice RGB for a lighter mouse but that's just me.

You can go with most keep cap sets. Just know from the right alt to Ctrl isn't standard due to the fn and memory key. But if you go with taihao kepcaps, they sell blank keys that you can put in place of those non standard keys. Just shoot them a message 9n Instagram and they will tell ya. I get my keycaps from mechanicalkeyboards.com

On note of the cynosa chroma isn’t it rubber dome so it wouldn’t have switches would it? I’ve had mine apart and the only thing on the spacebar that looks squeakable is the stabilization bar that goes across the bottom of it

@silver sluice If you are using an HDMI capture card, I suggest. You go: Switch Dock to Capture card via HDMI, then from the capture card to the monitor via a HDMI to DVI cord. Generally using an adapter allows more problems to be made, even though an adapter and an in-line adapter are practically the same thing, an adapter just fails some times. If this was confusing and you need a different explanation, just DM me.

Razer uses a non standard bottom row on all of its keyboards except the Huntsman TE, which means some keys on the bottom row (row of the spacebar) are different sizes than most aftermarket keycap sets you can buy.

@foggy dirge I am late responding, however the Kraken TE is one of the newer Kraken headsets, but it is in the same generation as the regular "Razer Kraken", it just has a few upgrades such as a audio controller with THX Spatial audio support, among some other features.
