Hi everyone, I recently bought a headset and received it today. It's the Razer Black Shark V2 X, and I'm having a big problem with it. When I play music on Spotify and I'm in voice chat, whether it's Discord or a video game, my friends can hear my voice. I also have another problem: when the volume is high, they can hear each other, creating a crazy echo. I'm using a 3.5mm jack (two pink and green inputs). I already had this headset, but I had to return it because of the problem I'm currently experiencing. I thought, why not order it again, but I see it's defective, just like the first one. I can't figure out what the problem is. If anyone knows, please let me know! Thanks in advance!

Razor needs to release some updates on their project Ava, if they haven't already. Have mouse the headphones and their great, yet boring. People miss the realworld case uses for this product.... as more than a Waifu lol. Had this idea for a controller that helps disabled people join America's favorite pastime and social gathering place "Video games", audible ques for the partially blind, speech to text or text to speech for those who cannot speak or cannot speak well enough without fear of ridicule. This project ava could be used in a similar way it seems in real life, I have a friend who was hit by a car and has brain damage now and forgets little things, and sometimes needs help staying on task with chores and decisions.... Ava could help with those things with the built in cameras and memory the AI learns the patterns, I want to buy him one he will love it.... that said, I want ava as a Waifu so don't think this is a me using noble causes as a smoke screen 😊.

You could throw a driver cleaner in after removing from Synapse. I try to do the least aggressive first. I have a lot of experience repairing this. With 20+ devices it can get really complicated

It was DEFINITELY a mistake to not add 3.5mm in support. 😕 I'd hate to sell this thing with all the tech inside of it. I'm a believer in Haptic Seat Pads, because I've own others for yeeears. This was the latest tech, and I own Razer's other Haptic products like the Kaira headphones for PS5 (which I LOVE!). This Headphone product has a usb reciever that you plug into the PS5, it sends audio/haptic info to the headset. Wish it could also send that same audio/haptic info to my Freyja seat pad. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Does anyone here have the viper v4 pro? The scroll wheel is being marketed as significantly improved, but mine feels stiffer than I'm used to. With the v3 pro, it was super smooth, almost like there was oil in it. It felt really good. But with the v4 when scrolling slowly, it kinda catches between steps. About the headset working or not on Linux, I haven't seen official support from Razer for Linux distributions, if you check the manual of your peripheral you'll see the OS that supports it (even in the page of the product), I haven't seen Linux as supported, so it's not a surprise.

Feel free to post your opinion about the headset, but that technical stuff I'd recommend you to post it on #tech or with Razer Support so they can get your feedback.

Basically disable your audio enhancements in the audio settings

You cant "get rid" of it as it's part of windows 10

So i have the Razor Mamba Hyperflux but I seem to have lost the ability to control the mouse mat lights...it is just off. I know it still works as it lights up on statup or USB insertion but then goes dark. I even made a new profile to no avail. Suggestions???
