I get what everyone is saying but the components being used and the PCB and what not are very basic penny componenets on that PCB they are super cheap to make, look at all these mouse startups offering similar specs, its easy to get a company to make a custom pcb for a mouse with those specs they are nothing special and just industry standard really. Its the marketing making you think its something great when this tech its stale. They are marketing the slow drip where they give a tiny spec update here or there when way more is tecnically possible. Look at mchose for example releasing 16k polling before razer. Razer is on a marketing sales timeline not an innovation breakout here.

Its plastic , not mag or carbon fiber and PU fake chemical plastic leather - pleather if you will. durabity on PU leather is questionable at best real top grain leather lasts 10-20 years under daily use Not Cheap PU

real leather also feels way more premium

given the hand touches it , and uses it it was a huge huge huge miss by razer not to use real leather for the premium feel atleast. Atleast when LV or one of these luxury brands charges alot its real leather

PU leather is just fabric coated in polyurethane plastic, cheap, short‑lived, and some low‑grade PU even off gasses chemicals like DMF that have been linked to liver cancer. Real top‑grain is actual hide, ages gracefully, and can last a lifetime instead of peeling in two years.

thats why razer gave one in a case because when the fake pu pleather is all peeling looks like crap and fell apart there is one in the case to look at still that will probably still be stinking of fake chemical leather and give off cancer gas in your home for life

Its probably no good, no batter, no dongle, the RVSME only works on a specific dongle so probably similar there, maybe as a backup or replacement parts to the main mouse when the leather peels off but about it

accidently worked out how to combine macro and text, but the deley between key is a killer, even at 0ms it seems like 100ms

When you read the instruction for migrating it says to install v3 before migrating, but you cant dl v3. My problem is not using my old macros, they load, they just run at like half the speed, If you make a macro with 0s delay between key strokes like every letter from a to z, go to notepad and see how long it takes to print out, v3 could it in under half a sec, my old v2 synapse with my older keyboard was instant, its like each update it gets slower.

I just wish there was some warning before hand that upgading to v4 is perm and you cant roll back

Looks like I found a work around instead of selecting no delay if I use 0.001 delay the string of text in the macro is printed almost instantly

So I will have to re do every macro, but at least I get the speed back

In the video the grip (green) part, is just slipping on the actual wheel (yellow). You can see this clearly with the plastic mould marking (red) not always rotating as the grip (green) is turned.

The grip (green) and wheel (yellow) are meant(?) to be bound together, because the wheel itself is meant to have steps, like a scroll wheel.

Unless this is a really weird 'feature' where the wheel freespins slightly in case you accidentally bump it? I don't know.

To me it just feels like a manufacturing defect.

I had the brushed aluminum Logitech g413 that I think was a bestbuy exclusive. Honestly my favorite fulllsize keyboard because of the Romer g switches. If this mimics that even slightly, I’ll go ahead and buy. Woot has the huntsman v3 pro (non8k) on sale right now until valentines. So hopefully I can find out more info by then.

You can't change the lighting profile for hypershift anymore?

So I am reading that Hypershift is firmware baked and cannot be accessed by Synapse. But Hypershift is the best way to create macros, so you can't even color code any macros inside that layer

Where 2017 when I bought my ornata, it's hypershift layer was controllable. and I remember this clearly because I made many different hotkeys in hypershift and it was easier to access macros through

I remember even making them toggle on and off based off their running states and had it set up so perfectly

But now using the M1 to M5 keys the layers are getting stuck, there is no change profile back on release, and the profile swapping to produce a macro layer is really gross

I recommend adding Synapse support and firmware hackery to control Hypershift lighting profiles, because I don't feel like having to reverse engineer all this just to hack a dumb work around or inject a new lighting profile into whatever firmware controller is doing this, it's risky, it's dumb, and I've read online that many people believe the same that hypershift requires lighting profiles, or that's how we all assume it would work

Then again these switches aren't even replaceable either so I'm not too happy lately

Also the inside is designed with torque locked twist tabs and no fasteners or screws, so basically to undo and replace switches I must twist and risk breaking the metal tab, cut a single leg off my red switches, and then sandwhich it with a clamp, it's insane the engineering behind this, Please just include normal sockets with the third leg, and use screws or fasteners

Everything on this keyboard feels like it's designed to punish me and I'm almost debating if I should box it back up and bring it back to exchange for a different brand, this is ridiculous man

Usa. Signature is required. But depending on whether Razer checks a box or not determines on whether I can forward to a 3rd party pickup, in my case a local Walgreens. the amount of time the cpu spends on non game stuff is SMALL because windows has taks prioritization where foreground windows processes get the most execution time. so even 1000 instructions being executed for idk google chrome is nothijg conpared to the game you're playing which means you wont get much of a boost if you stop those 1000 instructions

however if you overclock you're cpu you're increasing the rate of execution for WAY more instructions

Along with a used blade stealth as a laptop for on-the-go work... excited! The only downside if this set is probably the ornata but i don't really need a mechanical keyboard, i just need a good one that has media keys and syncs with synapse

so my viper v2 pro has some weird issues with the wireless dongle, now only wired seems to be working, and even wired sometimes has a few funky situations where leftclick is a rightclick but only when I try to plug in the dongle, then I have to do the driver installation again via the firmware updater to get it working again.

Would it be bad to remove the drivers from the windows driver store, already tried removing them from device manager

I tried using different usb slots, deactivating power saving options etc.

Mouse quality is actually different. It’s lighter than my Logitech g pro Mouse. But I remember the days when peeps used to make their mice heavier. It has the shape of the original, but I’ll have to dig out my og boomslang for a direct comparison.

One thing I definitely notice is it’s a clicky mouse.

The scroll wheel feels nice.

I don’t know how I feel about the pleather yet.

hello Razer people :) any Basilisk V3 Pro owners around? I've been shopping for a new mouse and it seems like the best one for me coming from an MX Master 3. I've heard that it's rather problematic though, but I'd like to ask people's takes here. Would it reasonably last at least 4-5 years? That is pretty much the bare minimum for a mouse lifespan for me. Additionally, if anyone has the Phantom Green version, does the rubber(if any) experience significant degradation like the one in the standard colours?

I have a Razer Lancehead tournament edition mouse purchased in 2019.
I'm on a Mac mini M4 and this mouse is not supported by Synapse 4. So I can't make any adjustments.
I switched back to Synapse 2, but after entering my account name, the software goes through a loop of identity verification.

I would like to remap the two upper manual DPI adjustment buttons to avoid unwanted speed changes and take advantage of these two buttons to put another shortcut.

Does anyone have a solution? Future support for the Lancehead in Synapse 4? Debugging Synapse 2 on Mac?

Hi, I have not long received the razer black shark V2 pros. When playing Apex legends i am finding it hard to make out foot steps, it seems that my gun shots and other things drown them out. I have tried a couple EQs and other things but nothing is making them very clear. For context i had Razer Krakens before this and the audio was fine. Are you using Synapse for THX. I believe that's a Synapse one like Kraken v3 pro. You can also try disabling audio enhancements. You can also try a different APO like dolby or dedicated THX Spatial Audio app. I use THX. Apex can often lose sounds it can only handle so many things at once.

I just bought a new keyboard from razer and synapse 3 did not detect it,and iwe read somewhere they wrote if you uninstall a device you wont be able to connect it to synapse 3 again,but it also seems to mean you cant add any new ones you get, so i sadly had to update to synapse 4 and now im stuck with a razer synapse that doesnt switch profiles automatically.

I need to use Razer Synapse 3 because its macro capabilities are better than Razer Synapse 4, but it's crazy to compare their speeds; Razer 3 is far superior. How can I continue using it?
