I got it the razer barracuda x headset as a gift recently and I started using it today, the audio works fine and all, but my pc couldn't detect the mic and I've searched for solutions everywhere and there's nothing that could help. Pretty sure they are the same. Both use hyperspeed, both have same 50mm drivers (as in audio speakers) and as far as i can see they are both rated to 70h battery life.
Im gonna guess its better microphone and that additional button for equalizer. If you own razer keyboard or mouse, you can probably remap that to them just like we can remap clutch/sniper button for mouse.

Besides that single button i think functionally they are the same. And if there is difference in microphone, lets be honest we dont buy 100+$ headset to use microphone that comes with it.

And i forgot to say, PRO probably has multiple ways of connecting to PC so maybe that is one plus (pretty sure it has bluetooth so i would assume you can use it with a phone). If its not the case then its even one more reason to skip the PRO

Actually they both support bluetooth. So only question is if they can be connected to phone, but they both support so no reason to drop another 50+$

I downloaded the latest update of razor synapse and it completely bricked the app. it kept pressing the number 8 over and over again. when i force closed the app it stopped. when i went to razor macros it started again. now i reinstalled razor synapse, and macros are completely unavailable. i cant acess the macro widget. any ideas?

Make sure to not use too much.

I'm currently using it and I'm seriously getting crazy soon after not finding EQ/Settings so I dont get a negative pressure on my ear
Like the Dull sounds I'm hearing while playing FPS/CS2 are killing me inside

My current settings are: +3, +4, +3, +1, +0, +0, +2, +3, +3, +3

All Enhancements off

It worked for me after tweaking for hours, then I installed the firmware, probably some settings did reset
and now I'm starting to get crazy again

pls help, I'm desperate

Hey folks, is it possible to program Chroma (C#, Rest, WebSockets, does not matter) to change certain keys colors without actually taking over chroma controll?
The idea is simple, lets say someone has breathing effect setted up, and i want to create some shortcuts (lets say AHK, does not matter actually). Now i would like to highlight possible shortcut combinations for lets say CTRL+KEY, so when i press CTRL i would like to set KEY colors to something different than what is already on keyboard, but i would also like to keep current effects and collors on the rest of the Chroma devices (including keyboard).

If i have to take control of chroma using my app its painful to keep effects in sync, and im assuming there would be conflict with some games and stuff that also supports chroma....

I have a razer keyboard, mouse, and razer nommo speakers with the subwoofer, and then i also have the razer kraken headset, i dunno why it does this, it usually only does this whenever i am using my razer nommo speakers

the app loads and ass it's loading it's modules the app just closes without any popups or anything, i can't even get any errors from the eventvwr to see what may be causing it

i do have Logitech G Hub installed as well as I have a set of A50 with the DAC that i bought as i was wanting another headset but these kraken are so much better i am going to try uninstalling LG G Hub right now to see if maybe that's the cause

Nope, Synapse Beta is on Beta Phase, which means it can be bugged.

Just look for the Synapse 3 installer, that's it (make sure to delete Beta first).

In Razer polling rate tester, if I do a fast screen swipe then stop moving, the polling rate shows (<2k). If I screen swipe continuously, it easily saturates 7k. On the fast swipe/stop, is the polling rate readout accurate enough to mean there are no peaks above that? Is the app only designed to measure peak polling rate (continuous movement)?

I think they update software to increase accuracy. They did have a post on razer insider about bios setting that would help polling rate.

Also a few versions needed laptop bios updates.

But the one software we used just detect polling rate at 8k no matter if mouse moved or not and was verified accurate.

They look at other software and it was detecting captured data.
