okay so I have a wild ass question I might get a few turned heads at but just follow along. so some back story first. for the past, idk. 3 or 4 years I have been using the viper ultimate on and off, as of almost 2 years now (scary to think) I have tried the g pro x superlight as my main mouse but.... idk if it is the weight or the feet, the shape. no clue what it is but the mouse just does not feel right. I am over adjusting and over flicking and I end up doing a wobble when I flick with the superlight. but I noticed I don't have any of these issues with the viper ultimate
now my question.
as someone who tried using a lighter mouse than the viper ultimate, but didn't find success in the superlight. is the deathadder v3 pro a choice I should consider?
I am planning on building a white PC and it would look super clean with it. but without any way to test it other than to out right buy it. I won't know if I like it or not

one left i got the razer huntsman elite and on the right i got the blackwidow v4 (green switches) (dont know if im gonna take pro or not actually)
im searching for a new keyboard but that isnt to far from that ornata in terms of typing gaming ect uk

first thing is on the left with huntsman the optical is better for gaming with lower actuation force and distance but i dont know if its good for typing experience when i want to work with it, and actually know that mechanical is better with replacement if I want to change switches a day

on the right with the bw v4 (green switches) that have features like can unplug it from the keyboard when i need to work on my desk and have easy switches change, or even the macro keys that i can use for many games

so what would u recommend to me please

Has anyone had an encounter similar to this?
My mouse Bask V3 just got off its warranty and this issue makes it IMPOSSIBLE to play any game that uses the scroll wheel. Once the mouse is lifted off the ground, it activates the scroll wheel. Its almost like they wanted it to go bad as soon as it cant be warrentied. Love the mouse to death, but this issue would require a new mouse if it cant be resolved.

I bought my keyboard for gaming. Other than the factory defect with my media key not working I had no real reason to replace my keyboard UNTIL this snap tap feature came out. Now I feel behind. However I do rely on this Audio passthrough port as my computer is like 10,000 miles away from my headphones and keyboard. And even though wooting made a better version of Snap Tap, if ANY company makes one that has Snap Tap AND the audio pass through they can take their "$200+" that they're asking for because of one feature. I can live without the USB port although that has been useful as well. However the Audio pass through is really more essential than I ever thought.

Without the Audio Pass through i'd have to run a cable extender which in turn would water down the audio, cause delay possibly, and be long and unorganized.

Because not only do they have the feature on their latest keyboards but they made it available on ALL of their keyboards. Then on top of that they already had a similar feature before. It just wasn't as effective as Razers. However once they created their version in less than A DAY after Razer announced theirs they made it so that it not only works exactly just like Razers but you can customize it for any 2 keys on the keyboard. It has more options for customization as well.

So imagine Razer comes out with their product. The feature is great, but they force their current users to now have to spend an additional $180 - $250 dollars for entirely new keyboard that probably takes away older features from their current Razer Product. A slap in the face as a current customer of Razer. I get they want to make money but they make my current keyboard obsolete with a game breaking feature that is only exclusive to their new product line up.

⌨️ Now we have wooting. Imagine you bought a wooting keyboard years ago. They didn't say "oh well you now have to buy this new keyboard in order to keep up". No, they made it so that you can keep what you have and still enjoy the latest features. So the oldest wooting keyboard has access to this latest feature. It's actually insane to think about. So a current customer of Wooting doesn't have to be like "man I spent all this money for these custom key caps, and now I have to buy another wooting all over again just to get this feature". No they can enjoy the latest features being a current customer just as much as a new customer. They really put their "fan base" in mind.

✍️ But in terms of the actual feature SOCD which is wooting's version of snap tap has a lot more customization for how the feature works. Because again they already has a similar feature to Snap Tap before it even existed. So therefor you can put it on any key you so choose and some other stuff if necessary.

So in short: Depending on how you look at it they not only treated their customers more ethical (IE; not breaking their current customer's pockets) but they also added the exact same feature with more customization. Even though they both technically work exactly the same.

My personal decision? I want whichever keyboard has the feature AND audio passthrough.

Like I have my Razer Viper Ultimate mouse. The only problem I have with it is the middle mouse button. For some odd reason, they didn't include the same click techology they bragged about in the commercials for the product into the middle mouse button. A year or 2 later they come out with an updated version of the same mouse. However all they did was take away a bunch of the features the previous one had.

I don't even know where Razer gets their ideas from. I guess you have to be a celebrity or big influencer to get through to get a feature request.

Razer beta just a different gui so far needs a programing team that can do drivers and cloud devices support. I don't think anyone was hired but waiting for audio support as well.
