Well I found a workaround for the mouse anyway, as stated.

on screen keyboard has a numlock. the synapse keybind wasn't working

for what it's worth, I've used Synapse for this purpose with a Corsair keyboard.

so I'm not convinced that's a problem.

I use the buttons and shift/ctrl modifiers to bind a lot of keybinds, basically those 12 buttons become ~36 buttons

correct, sort of. it wasn't doing the numbers, only the secondary functions of each button. but you mentioned numlock. I tried binding numlock to another button, through Synapse, but that didn't work. I'm not sure why, but the on screen keyboard, which I forgot was a thing, fixed the entire issue.

I can promise you, from 13 years of experience, that it's not. maybe synapse isn't 13 years old, but the naga line is. and it is currently working, as it does on my desktop at home lol.

I don't add the modifiers to synapse though. that's just basic keyboard/wow keybind features. if you press num 1 on the numpad, while holding shift, it inputs "end"

WoW will register that I'm pressing num 4 and control at the same time, and let me bind that as a separate keybind

Your PC recognizes the Naga as a keyboard, every keyboard with a numpad has the key lock numpad, which locks de numpad, probably you enabled it and the numpad wasn't working, but the other functions yes.

They're just bad in sound and type feelings.

Then added second gen was different optical design switch and spring positions then optical switch with analog with adjustable trigger points. With both removable and solder in version. But a few time removable version had problems or we ran out of stock.

But we might sell a few rgb mechanical switches again to honour the switches we replaced.

I guess low profile as well.

Low profile old design their newest version are basically on laptops. So razer are more medium or first edition low profile.

Also wondering would anyone use a laptop keyboard as standalone gaming keyboard.
