My Barracuda Pro does not show up on Synapse beta, also.

But it is a good thing because Synapse 3 crippled my headset.

I don't think it's synapse's fault because like I said, in synapse the volume is fine. Even without synapse installed the mic is still very quiet (despite windows saying it's at 100 percent).

I really believe (somehow) windows is lying about the mic volume.

I think there is a possibilty that it is Synapse eff ing up your mic. If it sounds fine ONLY on Synapse but not everywhere else, I would definitely sus it.

Yeah in synapse when I use the 'test mic' or whatever it says, the volume is loud and clear. But I think it's because the mic is quiet literally routing audio straight back into the headset without using the computer as a medium (maybe?).

It just makes no sense that even without synapse installed the mic is still quiet in windows and all apps.

And it's not like I can just call up windows support, they're nonexistent.

Razer has 10 band eq, look at the frequency chart of google and figure out what kind of sound you want to hear it louder (increase) or smaller (decrease).

If you want to know what a golden standard type of thing would be (any headphone) and how to accomplish this is very simple. Find a frequency generator or watch a video like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAsMlDptjx8 and try to get all frequencies as close in volume as you can, the gold standard is perfectly flat. With really flat frequency response "monitor" headphones you wont need to do this, some people also prefer the distortion some headphones bring like Beats for example.

Overall though from what it looks like you have an EQ curve with a similar shape of where it needs to be at. I can't see what each notch is so can't really say how much to adjust each by.

thanks for the response. Unfortunately, my laptop is not in warranty anymore, and razer doesn't sell batteries unless you pay to send it in to them. I've seen too many horror stories about their repair department and it's such an easy job to do anyways; I might as well just do it. But I'll check out Best Buy and see what they have.

Yes any bestbuy with trained computer technicians should be able to get parts. I had them update ssd at the same time for free once.

I still ask warranty department to see if anything needs to be updated or if they will ship you one discounted. Also remember to check bios

They did bios updates for me as well. Fix a monitor screen as well with firmware updates once.

Hi, I found that in my stores there is huntsman v2 and huntsman v2 analog in same price. I heard that there are issues with analog switches that they do not get along with all the games. Does anyone know if there is an issue with those switches because I am thinking about choosing one of those.

If the game you play does not have any kind of controller type of settings, you don't have to worry about it.

Also, make sure that before you buy it, ask the seller to let you try the thing for yourself. And update the firmware to the latest version available on the Razer website.

I think Synapse updates a different kind of firmware for the thing but they don't specify it.

I still had to update my firmware for my Huntsman Mini, Viper 8KHz, DA V3 Pro, Barracuda Pro after installing Synapse and had everything up to date in there. It was weird but I guess that's how Razer stuffs work.

Superglue doesn't fix the problem completely. The one on this thing is unironically made from plastic, the cheap plastic one.

THX Spatial Audio ruins the sound quality for me.

It gives me a really weird and artificial soundstage, imaging and a significant drop in sound quality: bass becomes lacking, mid gets muffled and the high are just piercingly harsh.

I am currently happy with my Barracuda Pro sound quality without any kind of "enhancements" thru Synapse.

Any idea what could I do. I bought Blackshark V2 Pro (2023) headset couple months back. I have really annoying connectivity issue. Fortunately it's rare, but still a problem.

So randomly and suddenly, the connection just drops for a bit. Headset gives me a double beep, it's quiet for 5-10 seconds and then we go again.

I've tried multiple USB ports, using extension cable etc. Nothing seems to resolve. I have even done a full windows re-install, no help.

So if your mouse isn't working, here's the list to check:

1. Synapse
2. Windows HID driver
3. The dongle
4. The mouse itself

Also, I suggest trying to reboot into Safe Mode to make sure there are no alternations made by 3rd software and figure out a way to fix them in there.

And, since they have developer to update the Synapse, I don't think it is quite hard to support on MacOS

Well open source basically mean no tech support. Once it's labeled support all feature need to be working and people to help with keeping it running. The open source was given when synapses was released I guess version 1. But to get official support it will cost more to setup. It not impossible just has not been done yet. I guess the best option is to ask software development team if they could handle the extra work load at what cost and do they know anything about Apple software.

Anything possible in the future. For now focusing one new wireless technology. Hopefully router updates also new options possible and cell phone razer 3 sales numbers.

And also, I noticed that the double clicking issue isn't only a thing on the 75. Apparently, I've seen a V4 Pro that uses the Yellow switch and has the same issue, so Razer mechanical switch v3 in general seems to have problems in their design.

There is no technical issue with both the red and purple switches.

They're double clicking free due to their nature.

Razer somehow f'd up their v3 mechanical switch design this year.
The most reported double clicking issue switch from Razer is now the orange switch because they had it on the 75 and the 75 is supposedly the best Razer keyboard ever made.

I'm not sure about the green switches because I've not heard about them for a while, really.

So with that being said,
Razer optical (red and purple) is safe.
Razer analog (black) has no issues reported so far.
Razer mechanical (orange and yellow) have the double clicking issue. But green is unknown, ig.

The same goes for optical not being swappable to a mechanical keyboard.

My only complaint about the Kraken V3 Pro comfort is the earpad might make you feel a bit crowded since it is kinda too big and it narrows down the hole where you put your ears in.

Also, the clamp force is nearly non-existent. So you may drop it if you lean backwards or forward.

But other than that, I am confident in wearing the thing for hours.

But still, I think the Kraken V3 Pro isn't worth $199.
No way in the hell lmao.

I will use GPX shape for reference since it is currently the golden standard for fps mice.

Viper is low-profile and is also lower than than GPX, you could definitely use this if you're claw/fingertip.

Deathadder is high-profile and has a hump similar to GPX. But since it's an ergo mouse the DA has a slope and it is very aggressive. It's more suitable for palm/claw grip.

Specs wise, DA and Viper is the same.
