Angle snapping, is a modifcation of mouse input. It can be similar to mouse smoothing. Like you try to draw a striaght line, but it's not perfectly straight. With mouse snapping, you might get a some thing closer to a straight line. That could be a veritcle line, hirozontal line, or some angle inbetween.

Some games like apex have angle snapping built in. Which may behave diffrent. Because in a FPS you're inputting mouse x and y. Which is flat, and it's being converted into yaw and pitch. (lines to rotations)

They're ABS so that sounds like marketing BS. You want PBT keycaps if you want to avoid shine

Most keyboards come with ABS rather than PBT keycaps so you may have to buy your own set of keycaps separately.

I know they upgraded the left/right optical switches to gen 3 (can't find what that actually means), but nothing about the middle click switch. I like the idea of HyperShift multifunction trigger on Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed, like binding the scroll wheel to scrolling left and right when the trigger is used in combination. Usually scroll up and down, but holding trigger allows scrolling left and right without using tilt scroll wheel.

I Hope if people use Deathadder v3 Pro and Viper v2 Pro, don’t forget to set one of the side buttons to HyperShift, and reallocating the scroll to scroll left and right as scroll up and down!

The issue is that it's requiring Razer specific micro usb cable because the way they close the connection for the micro usb port blocks most of the micro usb cables to get in

So it leaves me to use their cable to extend it, and it's the same cable I'm also forced to use to charge my mice

Hey just curious I bought the leviathan sound bar the other day as it was on sale at a local best buy and I have the windows set to 100% and game set to 100% and it’s still really low for some reason (keep in mind I don’t have razer synapse as I heard it’s a massive resource hog) so I just buy razer peripherals used or on extreme sale and make do 🙂 anyone know why it’s so quiet? Or is it just something that needs the synapse?

Also second question has the razer synapse software become more optimized? And if it isn’t does it use a lot of cpu while it’s idling? Or mainly just ram? Thanks people’s!

it's the frequency of mouse updates, mouse clicks, and moving the sensor.
1k is 1,000 μs or 1 micro second betwene updates
2k is 500 μs or .5 micro second betwene updates
4k is 250 μs or .25 micro second betwene updates
8k is 125 μs or .125 micro second betwene updates
Regardless of what you set, all clicks will be at 8k.
Like if a game can handle more then 1k, tehn your input has less letancy.
But if the game can't handle it, it'll cause your fps to tank.

8k has less latancy, which is a 'first fire' advantage over 1k. Same thing with an 8k keyboard. But it's not a huge advantage.

If your frame rate is worse at 8k. And it get sbetter switching to 1k. That ushally means the game can't handle 8k input. But you can try like 4k, or 2k before 1k.

But even if you use 1k on your mouse, it's still doing 8k clicks. so your still gaining an 8k advntage on your clicks. And your still using like one of the most accurate mouse sensors in the market ATM.

When I press down a little bit and when it clicks then it registers which I don't like because it feels slower

And I don't know exactly which switch it is but I use 8K polling but it doesnt really feel any better tbh
