Yellow are definitely not fastest that green in old switch I think it's purple in new switches.
But yellow are very fast still and you need less finger muscle to use them. They are more for typing 8 hours a data write software code.
Yellow were the first version razer made fir type code and data enter with rgb software. Then we try to improvements and made green with stronger springs for faster response. But they were more stressful when typing or coding all day. They became more the gaming version for after work.

Did you run windows mic setup. Check windows store also for audio software. Hopefully soon windows 11 will have better audio software support it was in beta testing and should be released in updates soon. I'm waiting.

I know soon windows 11 should update then maybe 2 or 3 updates after that most feature for windows should work and it was to be legally released. Not sure why they released it earlier as alpha software before employees tested it.

It use to be under advanced settings you could increase 10 db boost or more. The main reason was 12 v mics are 10 db Lowder then then 5 v mini usb mics so settings need to be adjusted. But lots want in more gain adjustment in software.

Razer streaming hardware should have this feature so you can adjust input gains.
I know I gave up on windows audio years ago been using sound blaster g6 for headset and mic setup on laptop for 30 years. But it use to work better. Still cool but was better before when it support wireless equipment also.
Now the razed streaming controller was what I last used but that was during testing and fighting with locals about getting paid for streaming. Keep telling people we don't pay you to stream. You only get paid if viewers send you money.

one maybe obvious thing, The siren will be super quiet if you're trying to use the 3.5mm audio jack. Use the USB.
Also, some software, like Voice Attack, may try to assume control of the mic, and adjust the volume, so sometimes you need to fix that in Windows audio as well.

I know this is a little late, but I did some digging in my own mouse and it turns out that the optical sensor sensor is designed to be louder because of the new optical switches. Furthermore it's not the optical technology, but rather how they chose to use that technology, so it's entirely possible that they can make quiet mice using the optical sensors.
I can tolerate the extra noise, although I would look forward to seeing a quieter version.

@glacial merlin looks like it's possible they say take a picture so you know we're to put parts back. Unplug keyboard. Filp it over remove all the screws then separate into two parts. You can then remove the keycaps clean put back together. Also check membrane for damage

mine does it too when I don't use the USB thingy, and the X doesn't come with a USB thingy
the audio jacks on the motherboard aren't shielded properly so you get interference
a lot of motherboards are like that
you could get a cheap USB to 3.5mm adapter and plug it into one of your USBs, that should help
(the Apple dongle is very cheap and works well, it's USB-C so you can use it with an Android phone too, but you might need a USB-C to USB-A adapter to plug it into your computer)

That mouse take time to learn if you use all buttons but it sure can be fast to activate stuff if you do.
I cut the numbers out of grip tape with Lazer cutter so I could feal the difference numbers on buttons. But just using it lots and know where buttons are really helped

to be fair, the naga X is more like a pro of one game, less like a jack of all trades because the amount of buttons
you can set them up to be specific and do things across the PC which you need but then again it’s better if you stick to one large game with the naga x instead of multitasking
that’s why a lot of people see it as the esports mouse
cause a lot of esports players focus on that one game so they don’t have to memorise the buttons for many different games
so yeah imo, 4-6 side buttons on a mouse is more than enough

I currently threw the Steel Series Apex Pro in the closet and traded for the Black Widow V3 Pro. Without the software it Will work as a normal keyboard.
Still, i'd recommend you to try to re install the software

And unless you have a 3rd gen Intel CPU, or smth close to that, your RGB's should not lag.
I remember from the time i had an Ryzen 3 2200g i could barrely play with Corsair Open (cos my case have 4 Corsair fans and a few others RGB) that would cause me to get lagged, and the RGB animation wouldn't even be smooth
But now i have a R7 3800x and hardly it Will get Over 50% usage

Little update to this: I ordered some tape, and I did it on all odds like I said, but it was kind of funny at first because I had the 5 and 11 working against me with the friction it produced. I added it to only 1, 3, 7, and 9, and it's a step up from no tape. I'm considering removing 1 and 3 since 456 and 789 were the 2 rows I always struggled with but I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Also added some tape on the side and it's nice for grip too

I gave my chrome book away only use one a few weeks. I keep my razer 11 Gen and 3080 laptop for traveling instead keep the 14 core at home

Not really sure how chrome books interact with most software... That being said it's possible that you might not be able to use certain buttons without software, or if they work, they might not do exactly what they were supposed to do, left right clicks and scroll should work fine thought

I'm using kraken V3 pro, But, I found some inconvenience and did not recommend it because I found that I had to use the usb dongle, not the Bluetooth connection.
If it is also possible to connect headsets using Bluetooth only without connecting anything to the cell phone, I will recommend kraken

The pro should get new features coming it can capture at faster frame rates for racing or sports. But it's a lot more weight. I got both the x is great if you're just sitting and streaming. But if your recording movement the faster frame rates collect, more information great option. Don't use 50 hz option that seem to be default it looks bad. 60 or better in North America.

They got really famous in 2009 and 2010 for getting a crap ton of high end things (e.g. premium TVs and Laptops) and once a day, selling those at a huge, huge discount

Depends on how fine you are adjusting to the different shape and size, they are very different mice. But I highly recommend the mouse as it feels great to me and has the option of a 4k Hz pulling rate when used with the charging dock.

Well usb has same speed just no option to use phone to charge other devices as a power fast charger. They just remove power on all 4 lines. I see no point in using the other option on any phones is what usb employees explain at meetings.
But we are still waiting to see if the standard industry will allow 80 gbps or 140 gbps connections. I'm very hopeful it will be coming.
I know razer reallt wants 80 gbps so we can add to 40gps options to laptops. Instead of one 40gps shared to both sides. But really want two 40gps and two 20 gbps options one per side.
But will also try anything faster if allowed

I trust you, and I don't have issue with what you said. As a consumer (and a relatively dumb one at that), I just don't like that my Razer Hammerheads that use a USB lightning connector (because my iPhone is using it) will go away when iPhone will go away from lightning connectors in the future (allegedly). Makes hardware investments frustrating

I agree. I think all big-tech companies (Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, etc) will have interesting futures, especially given this downturn economy and the huge GPU shortage (not really done with 3090 chipsets, but nVidia already working on 4080 and higher??!)

4080 just overclocked version really pushing hardware limits with a few updates. I'm not sure many will get one. But Dec 3 and AMD new gpu release might sell better and affect price war.
We will see could be interesting future I know one 6 core gpu or egpu has been approved. So a few are waiting for it as well. But the gaming industry in a battle with industry standards company. We know most 4 core cpu can do better graphics then what's allowed now. So why sell better hardware

Well, and think of the AI/ML stuff folks are diving into. Since a lot of companies can't get the GPUs they need to do the gaming stuff they need (I feel like I've heard folks at Meta/Facebook talk about this, but could be wrong), I could see a world where they make a game client that relies on end-user GPU hardware with a customized experience. But hey, I'm not an engineer, I don't even know if that's possible. I feel like it should be though, and if they did that, feels like it'd solve a lot of problems and give a customized playing experience

I keep fighting they allowed pre ordering but some saying the world does not have enough raw materials for manufacturing teams. If that's true why does xbox Playstation hardware sell so cheap for a 4k system. Option that can run screen bigger then most house can fit if full size. Also if 1080p can do 72 inches and 1440p can do movie screen sizes maybe they need to consider what they selling to customers. I definitely not sell used hardware to cheap.

Yes it should get supported for pc as well with software. It works now great used it lots but you have to make adjustments on xbox. We have done testing for pc software. Should be coming soon.
