considering you're getting an i9 (that has really high temps) then yes you should have a bigger radiator. I'm not sure if the Tomahawk has room for a 360, if it does then that's what you should go for imo. otherwise 240 should also look better at least

I get things like photos and such might be best on HDD; meanwhile, games on SSD might be better - some can be okay for HDD, but others, like multiplayer ones, would be better on SSD.

However, kind of wondering about other aspects - like, would Steam itself be acceptable on HDD, or is it not possible to have Steam on HDD and their games on SSD? How about those lighting programs for memory, fans, and such? Would HDD be acceptable? How do you folks do it? Also, is there a way to easily move stuff between HDD and SSD?

Oh, and for anyone who does use anti-virus, would you go HDD or SSD?

Good build but two things, that 3080 is way overpriced, there are 3090's now out there for 1200; try newegg instead or EVGA.
2. Change the ssd to a team mp33/pro/mp34. Iirc the crucial P2's aren't great ssd's.

Unfortunately they're kind of right about the case. The front panel blocks off a lot of the airflow so you get this hotbox effect that for high end parts (750W+) will cost you anywhere in the range of 5-15% performance and fps

If you can swap it, I could suggest the Lian Li o11 razer edition, same price, but much better performance for what you pay

Fair point. Airflow is not the best in the case. However. The CPU is gonna be water cooled, and I had a case with just a poor or worse Airflow and managed perfectly acceptable temps on GPU and memory under load. So, unless I have any serious issues, I'm looking forward to it.

Okay but 65C isn't hot at all for a gpu.....? And ive never heard of a GPU losing performance at that temp. Unless ur playing a game thats not intensive I'd be surprised if u don't get atleast between 60 - 75 C. The most intensive games I would get, probably around 67C. For air cooled GPUs that's REALLY not bad....and I think anyone would agree. U most have other issues if ur losing performance at that temperature....

If this was the o11 razer you could top mount the CPU cooler and go absolutely ham as well as yeet the 3080 Power limit

The TUF cards have a power delivery capable of handling up to like 800W or something well above whatever you need it to run normally

It's not as good as a strix which can handle well over 1000W but it's definitely good enough to push the power limit to the 395W that afterburner would let you do

Hey everyone. I hope this is the right place to ask. I recently got a kraken v3 hypersense. I love the headset! It works perfectly on my laptop, however, when used on my desktop, I frequently get interference? That sounds like the old cell phone sound when you would get interference with the signal. Any advice on how to fix this?

I have the opposite issue, I have interference on my laptop but not my desktop. I haven't been able to nail down the cause. I have a feeling it may be the usb ports on my laptop

I think it may be a bad integrated sound card, try using another headset on your desktop and see if it has the same problem. If it does, then you need a new sound card.

Just note, when you do this, you split your lanes for your gpu, so your gpu will potentially run slower

The motherboard will instead of doing 16x lanes for the gpu, will split into 8 by 8 lanes for each

Right now that's not a big deal, but in a couple years when you upgrade, will hurt the future gpu

If you ever have that plan

You really should stick to just the thunderbolt 3 port on the motherboard and get like a usb hub instead

Guys, why does my Razer Basilisk x Hyperspeed randomly stop moving it's cursor? Like if I keep it still for 5 minutes, and then start moving it again, the cursor doesn't move for like a second or two, yes the mouse works but I don't get why the cursor doesn't immediately start moving after the mouse stays still for 5 - 10 minutes

I figured out the real problem, it wasn't because my mouse was going into sleep mode to save power!

It's because I had the dongle connected to a USB Hub, which probably increased latency, hence the mouse was being unresponsive, after plugging the dongle into my laptop, it's working as it was intended to.

heyho, i have a question, i apologize in advance for my english.
Unfortunately, I have a very, very, very, very big problem. I got the Razer Blackwiddow for Christmas, it has been exchanged 6 times since then in the shop where I bought it.
The reason for this is that the click function on the buttons ALWAYS breaks, I've even upgraded to a Black Widdow V3 PRO out of my pocket.

By broken, I mean the button still triggers, but no longer has any resistance, and it doesn't click either, and they are mostly buttons that you don't use often, currently they are "i" and "k".

Does anyone have an idea or an alternative? slowly I have to say I'm really sad that nothing is being done about it, even if Razer Support now knows about it
