TN or IPS panels are your best bets. IPS has color accuracy and viewing angles. TN panels have high refresh rates and fast response times.

@signal magnet so 165hz is just overclocked 144hz. You will never see a panel that’s naturally 165hz. 1ms marketing is usually bull, as to reach it the manufacturers usually have to get some reverse ghosting in, which is why there is a 1ms mode and a regular mode. Check Hardware Unboxed’s monitor reviews. I wouldn’t get a TN panel unless you’re a hardcore eSports player

Duo Core CPU's have been out for about a year and a half and the first Quad Core just got released into the market and Alienware decided they want to release a new gaming laptop, which only has a single core, single thread CPU in it the laptop costed 4,000 USD on release and was pretty much outdated shortly after it released due to game developers starting to develop their games around 4 cores
