Microphone settings are microphones having problems if it's not an actual Hardware problem that somebody messed up software is being updated. They are adding support for voice detection so you can remove unwanted sounds easier on all hardware with microphones. Hopefully it's working soon.

I would go with an entirely new pc, if you got an EGPU you would be severely bottleneck any gpu you put it (thunderbolt 3 only has enough bandwidth for 4 pcie gen3 lanes) and the CPU wouldn’t perform as well.

9th gen intel except for 9900k is a joke cuz no HT, AIOs in general are more expensive for the same performance than air, the motherboard is non overclocking but your cpu is, cheaper ram exists, i7+3060ti isnt great value for gaming, case airflow is pretty bad, RMx is decent so it can stay, dont get a 1080p VA monitor on such a high budget

The “1ms” and “2ms” marketing is complete bull, the manufacturer usually goes to insane lengths to get that and it starts to have some reverse ghosting, double imaging, etc. 165hz is just 144hz but overclocked, we need more information than just that. Some VAs are also better than very bad IPS
