You won’t burn it most likely. The 16-series cards weren’t meant to be very powerful so they don’t run shaders with advanced lighting very well.

If you want newer components it’s really the only way to get them. With redux you say what components you want, and they buy them without any Markup. The only extra money you pay is $75 for labor

@neon yarrow so download the windows media installation tool from the Microsoft website and install the tool onto a drive, once you’ve finished the pc, plug it in. It should recognize that it has an OS on the drive and prompt you to setup windows. If you already have a device with a windows 10 key linked to your account, connect your pc to the internet and sign in. If you don’t, do not connect and setup without internet. If you follow this path, you will have to buy a w10 key for ~100 or use inactivated, but you will miss out on some customizing

Why Vega 8? At that point you might as well not even get a dedicated GPU. It has about as much performance as the integrated graphics.

I'm a fan of what I can get to work, I've always been able to get the previous year's Nvidia cards to work just fine. I push a small OC on my GPUs and no OC on my CPUs, I really value stability over performance. I'm only on the PC platform because I can't play a modern console with a keyboard and mouse, which I have to use because of the tissue damage in my hands
