Well, thta was the full price - i actually paid more like $2.3k cause my mom worked for a company that had an agreement with HP, so I used her employee discount
and HP is probably doing something for the holiday season/black friday - so there's probably better deals than what I got in May
if I could have waited until now to pick up a computer I wouldh have - alas my old one was on its last legs and i needed a new one
i'd have gotten a super if that was an option, but the Super wasn't available under the customization options for the laptop. The 2060 was the best I could get with that build
I could probably get a 2060 Super and swap it out if they use the same connector - I just need to be willing to void the warrenty and open the laptop case 🙃

alright, so i honestly don't know what to do at this point. currently im like 90% sure that im going to be moving to a boarding school in a year or so where i can't bring desktops (laptops are allowed though). my current budget is around $2000, however i can stretch that a little bit if needed. i was originally planning on buying the razer blade 15 2020 base model with the rtx 2060 max-q, but then i thought that buying a gaming desktop setup with the same money would be better. so i went looking for a desktop, and now i have an alienware aurora r11 or an asus rog in mind. right now im in a dilemma where if i buy a good, solid desktop setup i would only be able to enjoy it for a year or so; if i were to purchase the razer blade 15, i would sacrifice performance for money. at the same time, i don't want to put my parents in a financially tough situation. i really am not sure which purchase i should make. if any of you could help me out, that'd be really appreciated @stark forge @strange glacier
