Hey everyone, looking for some help here that Google just isn't providing.

I got the tartarus v2 (non-pro) running in Windows 11 24H2.

Installed Synapse 4 and changed some of the key binds from their defaults, however these changes don't reflect in Windows or Games.
Example I changed key 18 to be bound to "C" however when I press 18 it prints it's default "X"

I got Synapse 3 installed, and after making changes, it works as i'd expect it to, and the re-bind changes I made reflected ion-game and across Windows apps (notepad etc..) however for some reason I can't determine yet, Synapse 3 causes Windows 11 24H2 to lock up, and reboot itself repeatedly.
Uninstalled Synapse 3 and the reboot issues went away...Reinstalled and the reboot issues came back.

I noticed in Synapse 4 there was a profile migrator. Because the profile worked in Synapse v3 I figured maybe migrating the profile would be a solution, but after successful migration, the v3 profile behaves the same way v4 did where re-bound keys don't reflect in Windows or Games, only the default binding.

Does anyone have similar issue that can point me to a solution?

Do you guys know if the razer blackwidowv4 comes with a warranty? Got mine about a year ago and the D,E keys and spacebar only work maybe 10% of the time now, I’m so tempted to stop using razer atp. Mild soap and soak it in warm water. Soap will clean all the smudges, sweat, oil while warm water should help in killing the bacteria.

Don't boil the water, plastic could warp if you dip them in boiling water.

Scrubbing the keycaps could damage the thing so you shouldn't do it.

After that, leave the keycaps on a cloth and let it sit for 2-3 hours.

That's pretty much it. This is universal so all keycaps should be fine.

And also, don't use strong cleaning chemicals. They're usually very reactive to materials so it could decolor or just straight up ruins your keycaps.

Yea the AOC 24G15N looks like a solid pick, and 180Hz is smooth, and VA panels got that nice contrast. That’s because it’s a 60% keyboard, there’s hypershift functions. You can always set a windows shortcut in synapse to close app with another key so you can do the same thing with just the fn key and whatever you pick

Three methods mentioned in product ideas, one is traditional FMM (fine metal mask) vacuum chamber vaporization process in stencils, and recently, inkjet printed OLED deposition process (eliminating vacuum chamber), and lithographic cutting process. It is still LCD. I mean inkjet printing OLED process made by TCL CSOT, the sole manufacturer of this technology. I do not think micro-OLED will be mainstream due to its inherent limitations of size. Only inkjet printed RGB OLED (stripe subpixel layout) can go mainstream as it is the sole tech scalable for all resolution, refresh rate, and size requirements, and super power efficient inherently. This is in sharp contrast of today’s W-OLED and QD-OLED due to dependence on expensive, labor intensive vacuum thermal evaporation process with FMM (fine metal mask)

there's different types of VA panel as well, premium VA panels can be extremely nice, especially if it's mini LED VA. they tend to be cheapest to produce, doesn't mean every VA panel is cheap though.

there's also curved OLED monitors, which are very expensive. curved IPS is also a thing, it's just uncommon. without a specific model number, I'm just guessing based off of the fact that it's curved.

yeah every curved 32" gigabyte monitor I'm seeing is either VA or OLED

if you enjoy using it, by all means keep using it. VA is known for having excellent contrast and very accurate blacks and greys. the most common drawback for VA panels is motion ghosting and black smearing, but not every VA panel has that issue and not everyone notices or cares

if it's OLED, then you have an extremely nice monitor with nearly infinite contrast and nearly instant motion response times, but I think that'd have cost you about $800-$1k

I bought my blade 14 earlier this year and every month or so the hinge on one side of the laptop weakens. This makes the lid closer super fast and slowly closes over time while im using it. Have others had this issue before too? Is there a more permanent fix I can do so im not opening the laptop and tightening the hinge that's loosening every month?

I open the laptop and remove the screen exposing the hinges on either side. I then tighten the nut at the end of the hinge because its gotten so loose it may as well not even be there. This lasts for about a month but over time slowly becomes loose again prompting me to open the laptop again to tighten it. I am worried this will damage my laptop over time and need a more perminant solution

Viper V3 Pro is usually regarded as razers best shooter mouse but if you want something in the neighborhood of the previous ROG mouse in terms of weight I cannot recommend the basilisk v3 pro 35k enough tbh. Most versatile comfy mouse
