Hey guys, new to discord here, I am facing issues playing Spiderman remastered on Steam and other games like shadow of the tomb raider. I have an alienware r4 GEFORCE GTX 1080, 32 GB RAM dual slots, SSD 1TB, Intel HD graphics 630, 4K screen. I left my laptop stored for a while until a couple of days ago when I decided to install spiderman. Press the windows icon on your keyboard and search control panel if your control panel is on medium or small size change it to large it’s on the top right corner and then go to programs and then click on it and go to uninstall program or modify and then go find razer synapses that you downloaded it and right click and press change/modify and then click repair and repair razer synapses

I have a basilisk v3 which works perfectly on wireless dongle, but the moment i plug in the usb-c cable to charge it the sound in PC goes crazy. I presume that you've tried a different usb port. There is a way to change the firmware on the mouse but that probably won't do it either so if you got a multimeter, open up the mouse, remove the cable and test the conductivity of the cable

If the cable seems to be all good, it's probably the mouse

So, the cable isn't soldered onto the mouse so you can remove the cable

And use the multimeter continuity function on the multimeter to check whether there is an electrical connection from 1 side of the cable to the other side of the cable

You can simply look up a usb output diagram

And then on the other side (to complete the circuit), check all 4 of the pins on the mouse side (you'll have to do this because that side of the mouse isn't standardised in terms of pin arrangement)

Most of my screws come loosen, then like two are stripped so it’s impossible to turn especially with how tiny the screws are. And I checked YouTube before posting, wasn’t helpful.

Well I done different thing to get screws out from heating them a little to cutting them to get a flat head in to gluing a screw driver in. Even tape over top to get a little more grip. Drilling out or using a bigger or smaller screw driver. But it alway a little luck some times. Depends why it's stuck.

A few times just trying to tight first then loosen helps.

But lots of repair shop have experience technical people and hopefully spare screws

I just bought a Razer Edge and it's working flawlessly but I realized that GeForce NOW, the cloud gaming service by NVIDIA, is only offering 1920x1080 resolution screen. The thing is that the Razer Edge screen resolution is 2400x1080 so I'm having black bars each side of the screen.

Since it's an oled screen, do you think it could "hurt" the screen if the display is only stressing the same parts of the screen while the rest is fully black?

I ask that question because everytime I quit a game to return to the Android interface, I can see a marking line where the black parts ends and where the display of the game started.

Guys I am having a hard time with my Razer Kiyo Webcam, and I cant seem to make it work for the last few days

I was very happy when I got it, worked perfectly the first day.
However, on the next day when I started my laptop again, nothing seemed to work. As soon as the webcam is plugged in, I get no Audio input or output, no device gets detected. However, if I unplug my Kiyo, my Audio input and output devices show up again and work without a problem

I checked so many posts and sites, but nobody seemed to have a similiar case like mine

Does anyone know what could cause this? Or how I could fix this?

MacOS is not officially compatible with Synapse 3.

But If I recall I think there are 3rd party apps that can give you access to the chroma control (I think It's called razer-macos). Keep in mind that software is open source and might not support newer devices that fast

Most Razer keyboards should work by just plugging it in. Getting a keyboard that is compatible with MacOS would be a challenge, since only Synapse 2 works with Mac which is meant for older/outdated devices.

I would recommend getting a keyboard that is not highly dependent on synapse, that does not have that many software features like macro keys, hyperspeed or any sort of advanced features that only wort through Synapse 3.

I would suggest the Blackwidow V3/V3 Tenkeyless, Blackwidow V4 X, Huntsman V2 Tenkeyless, Ornata v3/v2 or the huntsman elite.

The Pro type is also a good one for Mac, as it fits the whitish layout that Apple has.

This isn't exactly a fix for that, but I've been setting up my games in the last few weeks to stream to my device using Steam Link, and with a combination of creating a new resolution on my desktop, and then setting the streaming to Match device Resolution (or something to that effect) I'm able to view my games in a game window that fills my Galaxy s22 and NOT have black bars on the sides.

hey everyone, so i think i did something to my razer blackwidow v3 pro keyboard and its not working anymore. The lights are working fine, but none of the keys are responsive. Basically ive been playing it at 2.4 ghz mode and i plugged the dongle in a new USB hub i got and it worked fine. later on the keyboard became unresponsive but it worked fine when i plugged it into my laptop. I decided to YT how to fix it and tried some hard reset by turning it off and then unplugging it while pressing and holding ESC, CAP and SPACEBAR. Afterwards i plugged it back in and it seems to have resetted but now its unresponive to anything (whether its Bluetooth or plugged into my laptop). All the lights are responsive though. Everytime I press a key, it lights up green.

Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks a lot!

I have an Alienware m16 4080. I bought another monitor to play some games on and it’s attached via hdmi. New monitor (raptor 27”) is qled 2160 165hz. I have my laptop set as screen one, external monitor is screen two. Screen two has the nvidia gpu set. When I try to play destiny 2, I’m getting 120 fps where nothing is happening. As soon as I enter a game it drops down to 30-60 and bounces around. When I play on just my laptop, it stays in the 140-160 area. Just trying to see if anyone has any insight

so the processor has a radeon mobile built into it and you also have the 4080 on board. I'm throwing spitballs but i'd disable the GPU that is inside the CPU so that only the 4080 is used. There could be a chance that it's using the radeon mobile instead of 4080 when you use an external device.

It might be working now. When I first tried with the usb c cable I have it was bad quality so I went to hdmi. Maybe a setting got messed up, but I reset my computer again, made sure the settings looked good and it appeared to be stable where it “should be”. Gonna try actual multiplayer where it’s a little more hectic and see if it holds.

Back up to 150ish FPS again. Lol. I guess lessons learned are double check everything multiple times. Rest pc. Recheck settings

My RAZER Kraken V3 Hypersense's surround sound doesnt actually work its just the same sound from both ears at the same time. I have deleted and reinstalled SYNAPSE 3 multiple times to no Avail. Yeah, it’s definitely extremely helpful. I also turned off cpu boost (I know it affects performance) but I just played destiny for an hour and a half. Average 100 fps and temps didn’t go above 65 this time.

Nice yes some paste definitely needs to be replace after laptop get well use for sure. I seen temp increase 20 degrees in 5 years on testing systems. Then cleaned up vacuum out a lot of dust and put in thermal pad from Intel. It ran better then new.

I must say working in computer stores clean customers or work computer you sure are shock at amount of dust inside a few.

When they get code fans stop working and it does not start you vacuum it out and they are running again until fans dies.

It might be your computer ports, depending on which motherboard you have, the computer manufacture might have put a fake port or destroyed it if you have repaired your device, so you might need a usb one instead of a jack or vice versa.
