Is anyone having issues with chroma connect not working when launching games? For example, when I launch Diablo IV all my devices should be red but nothing happens. All of my devices show up in synapse, all drivers are up to date but I can't figure out why games like Diablo IV and Hogwarts Legacy don't show up in chroma connect nor do they work when I launch the game. I purchased all Razer items because I saw the effects on my wifes computer and now I'm super sad none of mine works. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I had some issues with my deathadder v2,( not responding when just booted, no effect would load) that for the most part Works now, but still some things like it boots different now. Normally it would light up and cycle colours a bit after i power on my laptop, and when Windows and synaps start it would load my effect(static colour).
Now when i boot the light stays of and after Windows start and synaps it lights up and load effect.
Also yesterday i had 2 times where my mouse did not respond for a few seconds. I havent looked today yet to see what it does but i want to know what you guys think. Whats going on?

My v3 Mini used to do the same thing. Here's how (you may need to do it a few times): Unplug the keyboard. Press and hold "Escape", "Caps Lock", and the space bar. Plug the keyboard into a USB port. Release all keys.

You can also do a normal reset in Synapse.

Hey guys. I recently bought a dav3 wired.

So first day, everything is fine. I set the polling rate to 8000Hz.
It works and I visually try each steps from 125 to 8000 to confirm it works.

Basically you're seeing each frame/refresh as a clear sharp ghost image trailing behind the first cursor.

In my case, I'm using a 240Hz screen, so for a polling rate lower of 125 (which is lower than 240), I will see the distance between these steps significantly increase.

Once above 240Hz (250 and up), the average length of the gap will be bottlenecked by the 240hz refresh rate and won't become shorter as you increase the polling rate.
What will change though is the size of the jitters due from the interaction of the screen refresh rate and the mouse polling rate.
Visually that translates in the fact, that the higher the polling rate, the more evenly spaced out the stroboscopic steps will appear. (while at slower polling rate, you will see the gaps vary in length by a few pixels.)
Thanks to that I was also able to confirm the improvement of 8000Hz over 1000Hz polling rate on a 240Hz monitor.

So far so good, but after a reboot, suddenly my polling rate was effectively cut by 8!
and this seemed to apply to every setting:
8000Hz becomes 1000Hz
4000 => 500
2000 => 250
1000 => 125
and so on.

I try to replug the mouse and that immediately fixes it and the polling rate is back to normal.

So now I have a problem: For the mouse to work as advertised, I need to disconnect and reconnect the mouse after each time I reboot/strart the PC.

Thankfully, I notice my mouse is plugged in a usb2 header and decide to try if I would have more luck with a usb3 header.

And lo and behold, after connecting to the usb3 header and rebooting, the mouse stayed at 8000Hz

So hopefully this can help someone if you get that issue too.
Try connecting to usb3 header and see if that fixes the problem.

If you are trying too use them connected to USB they are going to work USB, this is good to reduce latency, if you want use them Bluetooth, they are going to have a little delay but you can use them in other devices. Only 1 device at the same time.

I've been streaming Dave the Diver on Steam through my private Discord to just one friend, for giggles. It was going really well for like three weeks. But recently, for reasons I don't understand, the gameplay gets choppy, and the Razer app, whatever it's called (Cortex, or something) after it closes says something like "Dave the Diver reached 398 fps", which is total insanity.
