This "tip" won't work at all, the purpose of having a designed battery is to provide the enough energy to all the mouse components, giving it a AA when it's designed for an AAA, will probably cause issues with the lack of power, causing the mouse to turn off on intense moments, sensor weird movements and actions not registered, for example pushing 3 buttons at the time and the mouse will only register 1 or 2 of those buttons.

I saw one Reddit user endorsing this and the OP got this exact issues.

No I use monitor or tv all the time. With out space I put laptop in cooler master wired cooling stand i made them first then cooler master start selling allowed laptop to stand up vertical. You can even leave on stand and put into back pack..

Hi everyone, I need help with my Wolverine V3 Pro (Xbox version).

After updating the controller firmware, the software requested a second update. During that update, the app froze and I had to close it. Since then, the controller only works wired, and the wireless dongle no longer connects.

Details:
• The controller is fully recognized on PC via USB
• Controller firmware shows v2.3.0.0
• Razer Controller Setup software version 1.7.134.0
• The wireless dongle does not show any LED at all when connected
• The dongle is not detected separately in the app and cannot be paired
• Wireless mode does not work on Xbox or PC

It seems the dongle became unresponsive after the interrupted firmware update.
Has anyone experienced this or knows if the dongle firmware can be recovered, or is this an RMA case?

You need to update in wired mode that support xbox or slowest polling rate option you might have to reboot as well.

I connected the controller to the Xbox using a USB cable and the console detects it correctly.
When I open the Razer Controller Setup for Xbox app, it does not show any pending update for the wireless dongle.

Also, the Reset option in the settings only deletes the created profiles; it does not reset or recover the dongle firmware.

they don't take to EQing well, despite encouraging using their own software to do so

there's usually far technologically superior options at equivalent or lower prices

They do actually have some stuff going for them in the mouse market though
