Seems kind of a step backwards in that regard when it comes to losing features when upgrading to a newer model using the same parts? I had a look around in regards to reviews and I noticed they all lost the same functionality as well in Synapse 4

I not sure why it even got released yet myself. They made a few mistakes like controller not allowed over 1 K Hz so they will not break 8 controller support. Also was to be 8k resolution not polling. If it works I guess your stuck using it how it is until they fix it up. Im not sure if the software just need to be fixed or not. Just know it was not approved wait for information from court and lawyers myself

I have no idea they release it when not allowed. I do remember them being unhappy it had to many features and would not be releasing new version in a year. But they were told they were not allowed to release it until software was done. Also approved to have polling over 1 Khz but after that I was basically removed from approving release.

Should be no difference then running a mouse with battery wired. Not seen no major problem with mice or laptop so wireless charging mouse should be the same.

It should charge battery till full then shutdown charging and just pull power need to run..

Just leave it on. Not on mat when your not using it for short period. During testing I only notice a small amount of current reduction if not full discharge once or twice a year. But no real problem storing lipo that were built correctly at 100% but I agree 80% for long storage can be great.
