depends on which controller you're getting, and you can get a lot of the same benefits from competitors.

the main advantage you want to look for hall effect sticks, because they won't get drift over time. if you want to look at competitors, I'd look at Gamesir (specifically t4k) and 8bitdo ultimate 2c. I can't find the rules, so I don't know if talking about competitors is against the rules.

back buttons are also something that's very nice to have, you can assign other buttons to them so that you can do additional actions without having to move your thumbs from either of the sticks

but what I was meaning is that ram and nvme drives are fundamentally different, you can't really compare the two. technically ram is faster than nvme drives, but in technical throughout it's slower. they're measured differently and have different jobs. the "speed" of ram technically increases with capacity because you have more theoretical throughput, but it's more about the ram being the quickest thing for your CPU to access. that's the main job of ram.

Depending on who made the card it could be thermal throttling, or in rarer cases electrical throttling but you'd get crashes if that one were the case. Thermal might be it, even a 3 fan card will do it. Or it could just be a weird gremlin in the current driver software, those kind of issues are hard to trace sometimes

Unlike the blower cards of the past generations, the newer FE cards have way better cooling, I wouldnt expect thermal issues from them, but like I said even triple fan cards could potentially get too hot. The only way I'd expect the card to sustain 100% usage on AAA titles would be liquid cooling

@simple oyster in regards of upscaling problem it has been a big headache on me. I mean a truly platform agnostic solution shall and should lie in game engine itself. I mean we see UE5.x has platform agnostic TSR already, but problem lies in Reflex-like input lag reduction algorithm and frame generation feature. I mean these types shall also need a platform agnostic solution leveraging AI machine learning with combination of DP4a based solution and ones rely on any AI cores (basically NPU on SoC and GPU). What would you do? Thoughts?

I play mostly on monitor no upscale from 1440p but xbox system all ready can run 4k 120 fps with out upscaling so does most computers.

I'm just shock now how much data system are moving now. I remember seeing frame of 1 TB is size running at 60 fps the first time I was shocked we could move data that fast and process it.
