you may need to include the generic Intel rapid storage technology driver to get it to detect the SSD, it’s the typical fix I’ve come across
(I’ve had to do exactly that on a few systems before)
So I’d give that a shot, you may need to download the driver installer and extract the actual driver files from it like what I think I had to do last time
Via Reddit on how to extract;
6.3 Pre-Installation of INTEL(R) RST driver using the "Load Driver" Method.
a. Extract driver files from SetupRST.exe:
- Open terminal in the directory with SetupRST.exe by right-clicking the directory and selecting "Open in Terminal" or "Open PowerShell here"

Regardless though it probably wouldn’t make a difference in the driver functioning, the only reason that windows installer can’t find the ssd is because the intel rapid storage technology driver isn’t packaged with normal windows installs (probably for copyright or licensing reasons). If you try it and it doesn’t work, try switching VMD to the other setting @violet wraith :)

they used to be pretty good and then AirTags and the others came out so nobody uses tile anymore, and therefore nobody has the app, so they never get pinged by anyone’s phones anymore
