mice that can use rechargeable AA are superior to built in batteries that die off eventually and quick per use. also you can swap battery/ies and get right back to gaming without running it wired to charge. Battery life is important on mice at that point for how much you will be swapping batts.

I know this is a razer server, i do not know the lifespan with razer mice, i meant to get a steelseries but forgot the name, had one before it was great. got the razer and the battery life isnt great on it with a rechargeable. There are phenomenal steelseries mice and tracking is just as good if not better.

I am not a fan of logitech after many decisions on thier gear i could list it all, but steelseries was solid when i had a wired one. I did like most of the logitech mice I had as well, but thier steering wheels of the past and keyboard killing off and changing midproduction and not informing customers that the k800 was going built in battery only after it was already being made with user replaceable batteries. I had thier steering wheel and a plastic piece, yes plastic, gets signal from a laser to know that the wheel was turning, had cogs that blocked the light, I bought a brass one and replaced it and it was fine. Logitech knew about the issue for years and never addressed it.

thats a 10 band graphic EQ. this is the frequency response graph. if you have the graph, you can try to make it more flat with experience and using a measurement mic for rooms, but for headphones its with a dummy head. luckily i have done a number of rooms to know what certain songs should sound like. For headphones best sound is usually the harman curve, its a target, for rooms its usually a flat line is best or a little down in the treble (treble bounces around the room, bass gets stuck in corners).

To be accurate, to get it close by a trained ear you could skip a frequency graph, but if I could see a graph i could probably tell you how. youd want the graph to match the harman curve.

Over Ear, and In Ear and the year it was standardised

that just adjusts the frequencies so you can try and target a preference or even a harman curve, you need to know what the headphones natural response is if you are looking to get accuracy, you would adjust that EQ to try to match the harman curve from the freq response graph.

so if you get a freq response graph, you can use the + and _ to try to align it with the harman curve.

Every headphone/IEM/speaker will be different settings. The fact that i cannot find a frequency response graph means i would never even remotely consider buying the headphones. Wait for rtings.com to test them they will give you the settings if they end up testing them.

yes, but the headphones you need the freq response, so if you had boosted inaccurate bass out of the headphones by default, then you are making it even less accurate

I could tell you the settings for that 10 band graphic EQ if i had the chart though, and itd be close. PEQ aka parametric EQ i definitely cant tell by looking as it a much more sophisticated and customizeable type of EQ.

what I can tell you, is if you add gain, a positive dB, then you need the preamp to be set to a negative of equal, so i think the gray arrow on the far right needs to go down if you use that custom EQ you screenshotted

looks like theres either a +4 or +4 dB on the 31hz so youd do a preamp of -3 or -4. Basically you want to hit zero, if you go above zero, its distortion and bad for ears, sound, and equipment health, under is totally fine.

if the treble is hurting your ears, you can lower the 2khz setting, if that doesnt do, you cna lower it less, and lower 1khz and 4kz and see if that helps. if you dont have that issue i wouldnt touch it. shouldnt need 16khz because thats almost ear piercing sounds that would be adjusted. if the sound is muffled, its probably 125hz or 250hz needing to be lowered a smidge. Just set it to flat and increase the first 3 bands on the left if you want bass. Razer headsets except the Barracuda Pro have been good with the high so you most likely only need to increase 1khz, 2khz or 4khz if you want brighter sound or keep it flat if you want it sounds a bit dark.

That's pretty much all you can do with Razer headsets.
