I used thunderbolt 4 hub at first one per side. So 40 GBPS pre side of laptop.

Then made thunderbolt 5 data server the hard drive were expensive

Still are very expensive considering only 15 GBPS maximum bandwidth

You need a few drives to reach 80 GBPS max

6 of them like $500 each for 1 TB but a few 4 TB now under $1000 I here. Cost me just over $10k for that project to build first one.
