Love cyberpunk myself but yes for a few kids anything with guns is not acceptable. I normally recommend Nintendo for family games.

However, I strongly believe one day if Orion (sequel) does not pan out well as expected, it is still theoretically possible Nintendo wants to be even bigger, maybe in the form of full acquisition of a European studio, like this Polish one

You do not need violence and *** to be cyberpunk as a whole. Cuz the core of this genre shall be all about tech, computer, cybernetics and bionics. This is why a new type of cyberpunk genre franchise shall be more family friendly. I never intentionally meant for so-called kidification just because of usage of Lego bricks.

Also the big problem with quality games is that your not making money until the game goes for sale. So that a problem.

Unless you can find someone crazy enough to pay you for work before you start making money. You need a team that had great passed results with making profits. They have great records of providing results worth paying for.

But even the best studio normal only make 1/4 to 1/2 of the expected sale in first year.

Of the total time spend to make game. So if they think your going to get 2 million per employee and spend 10 years making the game. You might get around 50,000 a year. But only a few games ever make numbers that big.

Then the problem could be the game does not sell so after 10 years of work you owe the investors money. That's very depressing.
