on the bottom of the mouse it has some pads around the edges, my basilisk are white, these pads can get stuff caught under them on the edges and then start to come apart and this is what typically makes a scratching feeling on the mousepad when you are moving the mouse, take a razor blade and remove the parts that are now stuck to the mouse but instead are falling and should fix your problem.

I remember there was some kind of an input issue with BlackWidow V3 and there was a firmware update to correct it, I'd start with updating the keyboard's firmware to the latest version. I dont think this happens through Synapse, I'm pretty sure there is a separate updater/flash tool. If you get lost or if the problem still persists, I'd recommend getting directly in touch with Razer support

If you're ok with Chinese mice, they're far more budget friendly and have miles better p/p than Razer if you buy brand new.

I got my DareU A950 Pro with a 4k dongle included for like $60.
It's missing a dock, yes. But it gives me 4k dongle for free and 15mins fast charging.

It also has a GPX-ish shape, PAW3395 (very similar to Focus+ in the Viper Ultimate), tri mode connection, and less than 60g.

This mouse basically represents Chinese gaming mouse in general. While something similar from Razer if bought brand new, would be expecting to double the cost.

The 2023 is reported to have issues with the hinge. From all the information I gathered it seems Razer cut corners by using cheaper plastic for the hinge so it snaps in around 2-3 months of use.

But performance wise, the 2023 is one of the best gaming headsets you can buy in terms of performance.

I found that they actually sell 3d printed plastic pieces for the 2023 hinges on some online merchants..

So it means the hinge is replaceable.

Ig if you can live with risk, the best solution is to just buy the replacement pieces first in case they snap.

Since broken hinge is a result of either bad material or just design flaws. Taping it wouldn't do anything because it will break.
