Take a PVC pipe and place it in right corner, trim it to the proper height so that it connects the desktop to the bottom of the top shelf.. drill holes in that corner for passthrough. Run your 2nd shelf power wiring through that pipe down to under the desktop. Mouse bungee or wireless mouse, also run the desktop power cables down under the desk. You could also use the peel and stick ziptie anchors underneath to keep things tidy
