theres a springload in the wheel. sounds like the arm got misaligned. look on ifixit for a good idea of what youre getting into. razers mouse hardware is getting kinda sus. I like to take mine apart, open the housing on the mouse switch, and flatten the spring plate. it makes them fire easier, more reliably, and last longer (in my opinion).

its not like youre bluetoothing with packet loss and stufff, the pens themselves dont even run off a battery all the thinknig is done on the tablet board
i use hover and point but you could set it up for drag. theres a few buttons on the pen itself as well
