I would like to see a Japanese and Korean gaming veteran to lead Xbox, making whole management a hard reset from beginning. Maybe it would be possible by divesting entire ZeniMax to Amazon, in the way how Amazon and MGM went together. I do remember James Gunn method, being a digital film director with video game roots, the method to high quality games and films are tangible.

Then there the crappy job of running the servers busting hacker and cheaters. Keeping network running. Also no game playing since you have access to network your band from play online games. Basically all games since you don't even get time to sleep since the network runs all day everyday. You hope for only 14 hour shift and 10 hours sleep but more like two 3 hour naps a day if your lucky.

You misunderstood the meaning. I meant Amazon founded Prime service and Prime video in 2010s and built their own in-house film and TV studios at the same time. Then in 2020s it acquired MGM and merged to become Amazon MGM in order to enter the array of theatrical film release window, thus diversifying their release. What I meant is after founding of Luna cloud gaming service, it would be better for Xbox to divest entirety of ZeniMax (Bethesda) to Amazon. This is different from competing against game stores. Rather, making Amazon directly control game studios of ZeniMax as part of Amazon’s vertical integration in game industry.

Well I say it more for independent but not had problems on any hardware we tested game even ran well in 4k on Xbox and Playstation upto 120 fps with 120 hz monitor. 90 % of the glitch we found developers have problems with was run wrong label fonts. 8k fonts will run slow and cause problems no matters what they label them.

I do remember some studios ditched UE altogether in favor of in-house game engines, for the sake of absolute efficiency within studio-wide and franchise-wide needs. eg. Anvil and Snowdrop (Ubi), RE Engine, Frostbite (EA DICE)

Yes I mostly worked with frostbite or ea dice engines. But have used unreal lots as well build doom level quake unreal, wolfonstein plus many more.
Most of the studio build engines themselves are custom versions they only add features they plain on using to keep cost down. It's like building your own Linux distro

I mean as a premium brand, RZ needs to do a different approach with focus on quality over everything else, especially true for portable monitor. I have mentioned HDR tandem OLED with focus on sustained (24/7) full screen SDR and HDR brightness, support of HDR10+ and HDMI 2.1 FRL, and DP2.1 UHBR13.5/20 over USB-C, and support for very high refresh rate at 240Hz, and use 4K UHD.

I mean it is possible that beloved Cyberpunk game franchise can still get a live service multiplayer game like a combination hybrid of elements from not only the franchise proper, but also WoW, FF14 online, Animal Crossing GTA-OL. Also the franchise shall be designed with Nintendo device and Apple silicon in mind, as happened on WoW in recent announcement at WWDC. What do you think? It needs to be constantly expanding, without cannibalizing Orion (sequel)

Anyway, @dire lynx what I wanted to see in ever expanding Cyberpunk universe is being interconnected with both single player RPG and separate, live service, online multiplayer RPG of the same IP and genre. In my brainstorming of proposal of reforming Xbox from ground up, top to bottom, total reset, one part would be design language. My thought of your help @dire lynx would be: can we get the performance of RTX 4070 desktop with portability that handhelds and tablets give? I mean try to squeeze big ray tracing AAA gaming in the form factor and portability of how iPads and Switches do. I would call this: try to get best of both worlds (PS6 and Switch-like). There is hybrid, then there would be performance hybrid console. Replacing and combining all three devices (S/X and Switch) into one single device. At least Lunar Lake from Intel shows a design direction forward with modularity and flexibility. This would be used as a basis of my proposal. What do you think?

But maybe if rasterization being more than enough on 3060, but problem lies on how much ray tracing perf needed, maybe 4070 (desktop) level of ray tracing being more than enough for a given tablet screen, and use AI temporal upscaling and sharpening to compensate it. What about this? At least Lunar Lake Xe2 shows somehow, practical for a given form factor.

Yes we're told system should be sold at $1800 to $2200 each unless they can sell over a billion. Right now not sure if they hit billion. But they will have to pay the banks back millions if not.
Because Im fair sure they use 6 GBps ram speed just double it. So they can do 12 GBps much cheaper then the max of 14 GBps allowed to be sold for next 25 years or longer.
TV allow between 4 to 6 GBPS now I think per frame compare to older ones doing 500MB to 2 GBPS

I do not totally intend this to be on TV. Rather, I would make the big performance as portable as Switch does. In this proposal, a tablet form factor of 13 inch might make more sense. Also there is some need to return to physical media, albeit using proprietary ROM cartridge card in the way Switch does, but larger capacity and speed to an SD Express 7.0 card. What do you think?
For the sake of security, I would rather make the package to be memory on package in the way M1 and Lunar Lake do, but way higher bandwidth and capacity, maybe 48GB LPDDR6 at 256-bit bandwidth, being more like an M1 Pro package rather than M2/M3 Pro do.
At least this capacity of unified memory pool being more than enough for years to come

I don't see any improvement with liquid metal over most that don't go hard but like thermals pads better. Biggest problem with battery is weight. Also Biggest problem with run time is over power devices using extra power that not needed. Like running cpu over 2.8 GHZ not really needed is only move data at 2 to 3 GBPS

Well you have to hire new people or use different business plan.
I know a few that try a few business plans and then look at what work and what did not.
Some people will never work together as a team in Normal condition
I seen a few work together with fake voices so know one had a clue who was on the team.
Other all report to a Secretary who collects work and daily reports for payment then send to unknown team leaders
I know a few people definitely don't like working for younger or female team leaders. Bit not all team leaders need to be old and yell a lot about deadline.

They say handheld shall be add-on to big consoles. They do not want hybrid which would inevitably bigger compromise. But @dire lynx my design language tinkering would destroy such paradigm. I would rather have best of both worlds, combined into a single gaming device. So I asked some big Xbox fan stars on Twitch, and those S workers inevitably would agree on my design and reform proposal in brainstorming. I would call this an iPad moment of 2030, and I would call this: performance hybrid, and tablet size would be more ergonomic. The key to future generation consoles shall be: immersive storytelling, NPU and heterogeneous CPU utilization and optimization (P+E core), 3D spatial metaverse, always-connected internet leveraging 5G Sub-6 NR and Wi-Fi, security first, and B2B sales. What do you think?

I never intend to sell consoles cheap. Rather, I wanted to focus on quality over quantity, naturally leading to very high pricing and markup for the sake of profit-generating machines. Good luck that computer marketing best option now would be starting company or working with a company making mini PC. But market flooded. That or work for origin PC build PC for customers or corsair maybe a few other if they keep running.
But most of that work was done 20 years ago once the industrial standard company setup limits for power and date for how long they will be enforce design team goto work.
I know that razer motherboards might need upgrade for thunderbolt 5 as well as other company's and USB needs USB 4 or 5 done. Not sure who doing that or if it's been done yet.

This is when I went to a Lego store and asked staff for consultation. They heard some Lego and Cyberpunk enthusiasts did DIY their own cyberpunk-style cities and buildings on their own. When I asked them in regards of necessity of official Lego sets of licensed Cyberpunk 2077 game proper, including characters as minifigures, vehicles in Technic, some cyberware in ideas and Tecnhic, and select buildings in icons, Ideas and Lego City. They all agreed. I would like to write feedback to Lego HQ but I am not good at wording
Many times tinkering future of Xbox, I actually meant reforming an existing corpo from ground up, and designing a product would be like a paradigm destroyer.
My objective in such brainstorming would be: best of both worlds (handheld portable gaming and large size AAA console gaming), no compromise altogether, and importantly: a new form and new paradigm, called performance hybrid, a term Intel coined in Lunar Lake and Arrow Lake SoCs.

What I meant is more survey is required for Orion (sequel) to have proper and accurate depiction of types of people, including ones which the game been criticized a lot: lack of proper representation of so-called trans person. The orion game doesnt involve V and is more likely to have a completely new cast of characters. Cyberpunk already has trans characters they just do not make it a plot point as it is unnecessary to do so.
Unless you are making a political game or something similar, adding trans characters is completely unnecessary and unimportant.
It is a videogame not a political statement. There is no reason for it to say “i support this group” thats not its purpose. The purpose of a videogame is to be entertaining

This needs A LOT MORE survey and sampling, from trans film actors and actresses, even those actors and actresses in adult-targeted media and music. @dire lynx what I wanted to see is how Cyberpunk eventually gets its GTA moment. I meant support lasting over a decade, an enduring game for long time. Somehow, if one of the sequels (eg. Orion) has storyline so complete in its part that no more single player DLC needed. Lasting ten years should cross multiple generations with constant improvements. Also at the same time, why not use the time gap between sequels to make great online multiplayer ARPGs of the same IP?

@dire lynx lately I heard the overview of DQ3 remake, now with voice acting of key characters. But some drawbacks would hesitate me. One thing I would like to see is even better HD remake of Dragon Quest series. This time I would like to see while mostly the same as HD-2D remakes, changes would welcome. The changes I would like to see is full 3D characters and full 3D combat animation for the needs of all time best: DQ4. All while still retaining the original intent as much as possible. Thoughts?
