Very nice for a first prison! Looks nice, low danger while taking Med Secs (do you take Min Secs or Max Secs as well)?
I would put a Parole room closer to what I assume is the Death Row block, so that they don't have to be escorted so far for their death row appeals.
Are you using Cleared for Transfer?

i made a 2nd version of this, with more room for prisoners and work areas, but it had some security issues
working on a 3rd version rn to hopefully solve the issues of the 2nd version

while its more profitable, contraband still leaks through and a lot of fights happen even with dogs on the imports and around the prison, metal detectors, daily tunnel searches, weekly shakedowns, etc

For controlling contraband, you can open Intelligence > 24 h and hover over contraband icons to see the path contraband is taking through your prison. This screenshot doesn't have metal detectors over all possible paths from rooms which generate contraband. There aren't even detectors over the Workshop entrance. I don't know whether you added more later.
Your Death Row cells are only just big enough to fit objects for fulfilling their critical needs. Death Row prisoners never leave their cells, except for appeals and their execution. You might want to make the cells bigger for aesthetics, or to fit in more need-fulfilling items. You can also leave them as is.
They can dig a tunnel from their own cell

it's one of the best dlcs for the game imo
it makes your prisoners want to move down security levels and adds a bunch of qol stuff related to transferring between securities depending on the facilities available to each level
