Yes. We did, a friend and I. We've been trying for months and thought it might eventually get fixed, but since it hasn't I thought I'd bring it up.

Just to make sure, in one sitting you went through Chapter 1, picked up the key in Chapter 1, and then continued through to Chapter 2, and the key was there but you could not pick it up? You didn't go back to lobby in-between?

Friend had the good idea to check file integrity and try again after that all tomorrow. If it's still bugged out after that I'll definitely come back here and send the player and player-prev log
