i went to the backup folder and there was two files (steam_autocloud.vdf and customization.dat)
i tried pasting my friend's files into my folder to see if that would work and it didn't

Your files are actually based on your steam ID so it will not read them if they are from another players account

If you don’t have a backup that will work we will need a list of all cosmetics including music disks, a link to your steam profile, and what level you were. Keep us updated if you find anything new that isn’t on the list here before we get you your file.

I can send a spreadsheet of cosmetics I had. For level, I’m not quite sure but I could estimate. Also, would it be possible to transfer that data to a different steam account or can it only apply to the original one? Because there’s an account I’d prefer to play on. I’m fine with either tho.
