this is similar to a different bug report although with the key difference that this contraption was constructed entirely from scratch. they were working properly in this world earlier until i copied one, and now none of them work correctly, except ones that were already built before the glitch occurred

ok no this one is acting even weirder
the other one at least moves a stud but this one is stuck in place
and this one is behaving properly...
there is little rhyme or reason to this that i can see

Hmmm have you messed with the values? It’s possible that some of them have reset to default behind the scenes, even if it doesn’t look that way in the UI. Wiggling the sliders should fix it if that’s the case :)
Also if it does fix things, keep track of which slider did that!

I see no difference. The part will act wrong if it is copied or assemled manually. The only way to avoid this bug is to attach socket to the brick's top or make the socket appear automatically when building right on the slider or bearing.
