Currently all the precision weapons with the capacity to one hit headshot players are extremely strong in the available weapon sandbox for their ability to do this. It would be neat if the more close range/slower projectile weapons had a unique niche in their ability to shred player shields and would add some variety to long range combat. Obviously it’d be down to the creators of the individual gamemodes which gameplay they’d like, but this would add some neat tweaking opportunities.
An additional option that made these work more like classic arena shooter shields (quake etc) that are replenished by pickups only would also be cool also!
