Greetings! This is another one of my 4k charts I've finished quite a long time. Giving me some feedback about this simfile would be much appreciated. Thank you for reading this post! Elo

@mint ridge that jack section in the first half is way harder than the rest of the chart, especially because of the jumps on the same hand in the middle of the jacks. makes the second half a lot less intense in comparison. might want to tone that section down or make the second half harder

second half also has a lot of inconsistency in how the drums are layered. sometimes they're minijacks, sometimes they're chords, sometimes they're completely ignored

on a more positive note the mine usage is pretty good, i can tell what it's going to whenever they're used and none of the mines feel excessively tight for what they're following. the 24th mine after the 24th jack at 1:38.524 is really hard though, its way closer than all of the other mines and after a pattern that's very easy to fall behind on. arguably fine since its at the peak of the music's intensity but worth pointing out

Thank you for taking your time to review my simfile!

First, I would like to say that it's such a pleasure for me to have someone critically review and play test a simfile I made a month ago. I wasn't expect any Etterna/Stepmania player to take a look at my chart and judge it, because as I've seen some activities in this channel and I used to post a single simfile before the "7thSense" (I've already deleted my old post due to the lack of experience on how to chart better, and I thought that it wouldn't be fun & enjoy for anyone play test that chart including myself.) There aren't many people taking a look at those simfiles from others who are willingly eager to improve their charting skill which is quite bother me for a little bit, but I also understand that there are other things to do for people and not having much time to interact with this channel as much.

From this part I will explain some part of the simfile I made and I would mostly agree with those flaws you have pointed out. And also, I always charting my simfiles in a reverse perspective (Downscroll), so I couldn't tell much for upscroll player's point of views. (As you can see at the 00.32.812 to 00.33.912, the "3 2 1" mine arts have been reversed from the upscroll view and I don't think I could fix that.)

At the 00.34.012 until 00.45.214, those jacks part formed with jumps those are on the same hand position. The reason why I decided to make this as a result is because I was trying to follow the pitch on that certain sound as column 1 in a low-pitched and column 4 in a high-pitched (Basically, it would kind of simulate as playing piano but it's not necessary that accurate when translating from 4K to actual piano keys) and it ended up being that awkward pattern to hit.

Next, 00.56.416 - 01.12.319 (I'm not sure if this is the second half that you're referring to.) I could vaguely explain on why some parts are minijacks, chords, and ignored parts (This one I agree with you to add more elements)

I've added minijacks part to exaggerate the actual waveform and getting some intensity play & sense you get when hitting notes. (If I only chart to the actual beat, it would leave a room and might lack for a better experience when playing the song <idk how to describe it>)

The 3 chords (hands) parts, I think I will make a timestamp for this one.

00.56.416: I inserted this chord for the second part opening and I think it fitted well to emphasize this intro part.

01.04.718, 01.05.318: If you listen the music with headphone or earphone, you might noticed that 2 specific sounds felt intense than the rest of time length I've stamped. and that's why I added them.

And lastly, the part that is completely ignored. I was only focus on the intense & strong beats that I missed some of the additional parts and you're correct that the second half has a lot of inconsistency and less intense when comparing to the first one.

When I was charting at that time, I sometimes switching between earphone & speaker (I know that headphone/earphone always giving more sound details than the speaker one.) And play testing my own simfiles or simply play Etterna, I would use speaker instead because it felt uncomfortable for me when playing the song while wearing HP/EP.

I think that's pretty much about it to describe at some part I was intentionally charting on certain parts and I could improve them later!
