I've changed nothing except the monitor and display cable, and the game refuses to open, without giving me any crashes or error messages. Ideas?

Go to the /Save folder and open Prefrences.ini change FrameLimit to 60, see if that helps

I'm not sure of any possible fixes for that apart from switching back to hdmi

if you are, you should change it to what your display id is named to in /Save/Preferences.ini
