Honestly right???? I mean in our case it was mainly as a thanks to Patrice as he allowed me to do the carer thing on his ticket and obvs with that got the early access. But also was beneficial for me being partially sighted though wasn’t too bothered on that side of things as I went to Paris. But it’s fun Yano if you have the perks just use it. I try not to abuse it rapidly (through did try to get one if not some of the group in 🤣). But hey either way it wasn’t like those girls weren’t at the barrier.
I think in terms of seats it may be a bit cheeky. Though is very dependent. If you’re like myself with a visual difficulty then it’s understandable. I saw someone behind us in the early accessibility queue who had a blind cane.
Sometimes the accessible area just isn’t that accessible, visually… it’s why I prefer applying on the early access. so seating or standing I get as close as possible.

I mean sure you can be lining up from 6am, but at the end of the day that’s your own sacrifice. I’ve never been a massive fan of early queuing. I think 12pm when me the others took the line was probs close enough a decent time cuz you can have your breakfast or lunch etc but 6am in the morning in that weather. I wouldn’t risk my life like that 🤣 especially in a place like Shepherd’s Bush. Lining up early also doesn’t garuntee you the front spot. Again early access 🙄😂
End of the day we were all there to see the same show, so no matter your spot you’re seeing or hearing the same thing so the need to scream at others is out of order.

Exactly!! Also really other than for accessibility or safety reasons, does it really matter where you end up?! If people are actually reasonable and polite it all works out in someway anyway! You just end up getting a few awkward, rude or really drunk people and that's what makes it difficult for loads of people!

I was fully to the right hand side and could see everyone on stage! (when I could see (most of the time) because I'm also short 😂 and was about 3 or 4 rows back maybe) So dead centre really wasn't the most important thing in that venue I don't think

I mean I think it is for any disabled people! But the position of it always quite a way back doesn't seem to be helpful if you're visually impaired! I think for wheelchairs or people who need a bit more space to not be squashed and stuff it works so for a lot, just not all. Early access definitely helps for you though for sure!

Yeah, there was a girl behind me like 4’11 which I was apologetic too. But there wasn’t anything I could really do. I couldn’t exactly stand behind Patrice as then I would be a double blocker on view. I would rather block one short persons view than more person’s. I tried my best by crouching or leabing to the side but standing you can only hold a position for so long so had to be a bit selfish I won’t lie. At the end when it came to blue sky as me and @zinc ridge were about to do the dance lmao i let her take the spot but I think it was just a tad too awkward so she was fine in her spot made sure she saw the finale 😅

You can't help being tall! You have just as much right to be there as anyone! I go to a lot of gigs with my boyfriend and i'm 5ft3 but he's 6ft3 so super tall! and we get to a point where we try not to block people but equally we can't just stand at the back because then i'll never see! So we don't push in but we stand where we end up standing and people behind us can work out a way of standing behind him when they choose to stand there! It's just how it works, people are always going to be different heights. If you're a smaller person (I mean I am relatively) you just have to start learning where you go where you have the best chance of seeing and also literally, just accept that if it's standing you might not be able to see always and that that's not a big deal!

Either way it was a brilliant show and a massive well done to Daniel and everyone in the team from musicians, to engineers to media and management. This era has been the best I think. Big and ambitious whilst still feeling small and intimate. Something I realise now is a really good fit for the band and Dan himself.
Especially compared to GMTF which seemed on a bigger budget.
I feel the lads work well (particularly live) with a budget like this cause you get the stuff we had for this tour like the art workshop, the launch gig, the studio in Camden and this tour. Something I feel they should do more and is something me and a friend have hoped they done for stuff like doom days or GMTF with the sorta extended universe bits like an audio drama, a small little pop up house party. etc
All of the stuff Dan has done this year really immersed me into this albums universe.

I can't remember but I feel like it was maybe transitioning between the je t'aime viens avec moi part back into oh, mon amour and he kind of stumbled which is how it ended up as je t'adore? Maybe? (1) if the spelling is off or there are supposed to be accents, i'm sorry... my French is AWFUL now, 2) it's entirely from my dodgy memory, I'd need to listen back to see if it even was there because it could not be)
