It's time to check Dan's homework! Every week, Emma been suggesting to Dan - at his request - a new idea for a song. And after eight episodes, it's time to check in and ask: how is Dan doing?

But that was a super interesting episode. Didn’t think Dan would actually ever play any of these WIP with us on the podcast, so pleasantly surprised. And they are actually quite good. I would really love if Dan actually get to a point where they are finished and we get like a EP or something. Not asking for the whole & thing again cause that’s certainly needs some planning and stuff.
Also not against having more of the podcast. I love some bonus episodes.
Plus was great to know how the podcast came to be.
I feel like I would be Dan in that case. Not daring to ask directly and hoping they pick up on it 🤣

Totally agree with everything you said. Unless I've missed something, the Ampersand album is part 3/4, so there's definitely Something coming. I really do hope the podcast carries on for a long time... Those songs NEED further development and discussion and they were already brilliant

Part 4 is already planned. There were 17 songs recorded. Part 4 is supposed to be those 3 extra in some form.
Theses new songs are something extra. So would have to be a completely new release.

Bonnie & Clyde, a song about Pandora’s box and maybe one about a Florence (I guess Florence Nightingale maybe cause the song was called Florence & The Lives at one point, according to the whiteboard. I suppose she saved lives being who she is)

Since the beginning, I really liked the theme/jingle song 🎶 - "Emma and I gonna take you on a journey through the life of these really amazing people"
There will be the fourth part of this "&" project, looking forward to hearing the songs of this last part 😀

I really appreciate everyone who has worked on this podcast, and for Dan subtly suggesting to Emma that they make it and she co-hosts. Things like this and Distraction Tactics have made my life more enjoyable. Looking forward to more episodes, hopefully, but if not, I’m happy this is out in the world 🙂

I listened to this episode this morning and I could not stop laughing! Thank you Emma and Dan for answering my question! Emma I truly would listen to any podcast you put out. I've added "You're Dead to Me" to my library and can't wait to start listening to it. Next up, learning how to program AI to use Emma's voice 😂
I also loved hearing the little snippets of what Dan has so far for the homework songs. They already sound amazing! Can't wait to hear the final products!

FINALLY got around to this week’s episode! Was so exciting to hear the snippets of what Dan’s been working on! The way he was talking when he first started writing them I was sure we’d never hear them haha. But all of them are sounding amazing so far! Would love for him to finish them up and put them out in the world someday if he ever has the time lol.
