#BF2 - More Enemies (Blockbot Edition)

If you ask me, outside of the Goblocks Race, I feel that there is a limited number of enemy types for the other races. This is like a Part 2. Did my best to keep these new types within BF lore and series. Possible Spoiler Warning for story entries.

Striker

An Elite, invisible, fast moving, melee Blockbot designed to assassinate leaders. Once spawning, they will focus solely on the player and attempt to kill them. The Striker's Blades can stun the player making it difficult for escape. Damage wise, I suspect it would take about three hits before the player dies.

Titan

A completed armored, high HP, and large Blockbot. The Titan is armed with a Energy Shield (blocks ranged attacks from the front) and a Energy Shotgun. The Titan priorities attacking the player or their troops.

Disabler

A long-range but weak Blockbot with an EMP rocket launcher. The Disabler will fire EMPs at the player's turrets disabling them from any action for short amount of time. The Disabler can not damage the player's turrets, troops, or the player.

Just some ideas and concepts, feel free to throw some feedback or comments (if they even get anywhere).

I feel blockbots need more units that aren’t just range spam that constantly chips your hp

Melee basic would go a very long way

Rework frequency bomb to be actually useful

Also… why should the assassin bot stun you and kill you in 3 hits? Nothing in the game comes remotely close to that for a good reason.

Nanos also genuinely need a rework, extremely unfun unit

I wouldn’t mind if races got their super units from BFW (titan/giant/etc)

Also, my logic for the Striker comes in to prevent the player from leaving the safety of the base to get a long-ranged enemy.

Imagine combined with an annihilatior or a disabler, it would extremely risky for a player to go after them unless they got long range turrets or equipment.

Also, one hit kill seems a bit OP for an enemy unit.

I think he means to make it more problematic

Right now you just need maybe 5 or so weapon type and boom
It's gone

Maybe make it so it can be ABSOLUTELY Devastating but as it gets less and less HP it won't do as much damage

Striker sounds OP since they seem they would stunlock you to death. maybe instead of stun it's slow and they can't move for a small period after attacking. not long, but long enough to stop stundeath

As opposed to just stun I’d say they could teleport out of danger to the edge of the map if they end up at 50% or lower health, heal to full, then try again after a brief delay.

Basically make them a persistent threat you have to watch out for.

Either they can do this only two times or only 3 or 4 can be on the field at a time

Probably a cap on how many could be on the field.

Main issue is ofc turrets shredding them but not dealing enough damage so they keep respawning.

Perhaps a bit of both.
