Description:
After leveling Gungnir artifact to level 40 and 8 stars I opted to try it in battle. Once activated (300% bonus pierce) I lost on players only slightly stronger than me, certainly with 300% bonus pierce (5000 pierce before bonus) I would be able to win. Also noticed that after 8-9 hits, the icon was still showing it was activated, but no evidence of it working in the logs
Edit: it doesn’t seem like any star level Gungnir is working now

Steps to Show the Issue:

Start battle
Activate gungnir artifact
Note that it does not provide advertised pierce boost and the icon does not go away after 2 uses

Back when I had it low star it worked fine; but since increasing it to 8* it seems to have broken

I have 5000 pierce and 26k attack, add 300% to the pierce and I don’t think any toon in the game would bounce that, let alone a level 3000

When it was lower stars and I had 100% bonus (instead of 300%) it worked and I could beat just about anyone

Had a friend test a 1* spear and it didn’t show any bonus in the attack log, also after 8 hits the icon was still up

i know i used the sword yesterday and it worked, is this only with the spear? Is this at every star level?

has a ticket been entered on it?

that note specifically says you won 4 of the elements and they evaded damage so that would indicate it may be working?? What was your earth pierce that it still didn't win (it might not have)

is the issue then that its more than 2 hits and the icon just doesn't go away

This is an example of the toon I bounced on. His physical resist, for example, resisted my physical pierce. With the spear activated I would have 10 000+ physical pierce, no player in the game has even half that physical resist. This shows the spear activation is not working

Here’s a video submitted by @opal wyvern showing no mention of pierce bonus in combat log, and the buff staying on after 8 hits

this would address the buff image staying on perhaps

In order to prove anything you need:
(a) BEFORE the spear was cast to show you lose
(b) Spear being cast
(c) AFTER spear being coast to show the difference
(d) Specific Spear level and stars
If the spear has an effect it should be seen in the difference between (a) and (c)
without that game will just say they do not understand

and it does need to be a ticket ive not seen the issues posted here get much focus

My spear 1* also seem to be bugged. Icon does not go away. And the bonus only lasted 1 hit during tvt.

we verified that bow works at 7 stars so it may just be that gungir has issues, the display issue that the icon does not go away, and then at 7 or maybe even 4 stars you get no bonus pierce. lasting 1 token would be a third aspect of it not working.

Spear does not work on any special actions still. Poison, polymorph, confuse verified this tvt.

im not sure its spear. We are finding in 100s that we cant beat toons, with or without spear that outside of battle we can beat easily with smaller loadouts..

its as if the 5.75% defense bonus in battles is 57.50% or more

or something similar not sure how to figure this out but we can beat all the toons that we lost to in the last 100s battle

and thats without using spear. With spear didnt help for the few that tried

All this maybe has something to do with the messing around they did to fix battle lag
