Lyrics are in my opinion a great addition to instrumental beats and make a song way more epic than it already is. I always like to show Desmeon - On That Day as an example. Youre rather focused on the Dubstep than to the singer, but once you pay attention to the singer more the song gives you goosebumps. Its insane how much more energy and power she gave the song

I'm old af and I was a little hardcore kid in the very early 2000's. I'm a little 105lbs female and I wore big ass Kikwear jeans, metal and leather jewelry, had tattoos and facial piercings well before it was even remotely accepted. And the stares, comments, and reactions I got were pretty awful. But I liked the way I looked, I did it for me, because it made me happy and feel good. And I wasn't hurting anyone, and I wasn't doing it for attention.

People are really fucking weird, me included. I like the fact that people feel comfortable enough to just do their own thing and be themselves in public. No matter how strange they may seem, at least they're not hurting anyone ❤️
