Sounds I am referring to :
t (small t) - High Hat
k (small k) - outward non-vocalised k sound as in normal tktktktktk
k - inward non-vocalised k sound as in gun reload technique kK
K (capital K) - inward K snare but works as Rim shot in tkK
My Issue 1
I am not able to understand how to make it fast to transition from K to t. when rolling tkK-tkK-tkK.
Because K requires some level of pressure to be released inward, and t requires pressure to be built outward, both inside the mouth.
When I hit the K snare, I kind of build the pressure by choking on, or you can say by hollowing the throat (just like a hollow clop)
is this kinda wrong ? Becuase when adding no pressure I end up with a normal click which can be used as in colaps double click.
My inward K snare is CLEAN AF. Because in that also I build up pressure with lunds / or maybe just by hollowing the throat. (I tighten the top of my throat)
So I am not able to understand how to transition from K to t as pressure dynamics change from inward to out, and it takes time
......
My Issue 1
Same kinds issue when using outward k with inward K snare as in tkk
where it's
t (outward) k (outward) K (inward)
I am not able to transition from k to K.
But tktktktk is fast af.
But when I do tkK
where kK is gun reload
k (inward) K (inward)
my single tkK is super fast, but then issue 1 comes up where I am not able to transition from K to t.
I would love if someone told me a technique to practice tkKtkKtkK
